Place wasn’t too packed, service was pretty slow. My boyfriend and I decided on an appetizer (fried brussels) which was the only decent food item we received. I ordered the smokehouse melt and it came out looking like it was sitting under the food heaters for quite a long time as the cheese wasnt even melty and the pork was completely dried out. Let alone it was supposed to be a pretzel melt sandwich and it did not come out like that. My boyfriend ordered the cajun shrimp pasta and instead received chicken alfredo. We spared the server the trouble of being “those customers” and just wanted to pay and leave but the server kept making comments about us not eating, without having the thought or consideration that what she served us was unappetizing/unappealing and incorrect for that matter. I am also not one to ever make reviews as I’ve worked in the service industry before, but this had me appalled. Very disappointed as I’ve eaten here before and it wasnt that bad, so was excited to dine here again. Needless to say, I will never be returning...
Read moreIt's a neighborhood restaurant. A little out dated but the food is exactly what you expect. Decent selection of beers. The prices is average. Comfort food. Big menu. I'm not running back to the place or craving it but I left satisfied enough. I wouldnt not go there if ppl were going there but it would be my first choice either. Many seniors were in there happy and full. Very casual. Good place for kids. Staff was ok. Nothing to write home about. Service was slow at first but once we ordered everything came out hot and in a timely fashion. I was actually on a first date. Which I enjoyed the place probably more then if I was out with the girls. It was laid back and casual which helps in relaxing and just being yourself. We had great conversation bc we could hear one another. Neighboring tables are spaced nicely also. You have room to move. If your a teenager this place would be good place to take out that lucky lady. And the Kozarts Christmas farm was a hop skip away.oh no wait...
Read moreVery nice service and friendly employees. Iced tea and coleslaw were fine. Sweet potato fries were very good! Definitely recommend them. They had an Irish creme cheesecake that was gluten free and delicious! The pulled pork was terrible. Dry, very bad flavor in and of itself as it hadn't even been marinated, and the bourbon sauce was gelatinous and honestly gross. It was just piled on top of the pork. 0/10 do not recommend anything BBQ related from there. (I'm from the south, with experience in a variety of BBQ types--took only a bite of this before just resigning myself to the coleslaw and delicious sweet potato fries). And as always, folks, when something like this happens, and it's obviously just the way the restaurant does things, remember it's not your server's fault, and don't slack on the tip!...
