I ordered 2 orders of birria tacos with consome and 1 corn on the cob. MY ORDER TOTALED $40. 🤣🤌🏼 I wouldn’t mind the cost if the food actually tasted HALF DECENT, but it is all hot garbage.
Results: Skimpy food that tastes stale... Even the “fresh cilantro on the side” is stale and wilted, like how— and their birria meat is tough to chew. It’s not soft like it’s meant to be. My 10 year old (whom I cook for daily) can discern between low quality food and authentic fresh food. He also disapproves. My whole family disapproves and we feel robbed of our money and offended that we have to eat this. Now I have to cook dinner anyways because this food sucked and everyone is still hungry.
Their consome de birria is literally hot garbage in a cup, and they skimp on that, too. They give you like 6oz. There is no flavor in the consome, no meat in the consome, and barely even salt or cilantro in the consome! Just oily gravy with the whisper of a meaty memory. Hot. Overcooked. Skimpy. Garbage.
Their birria tacos are so skimpy and skinny and they charge $14.99 for all 3 of them. Their menus are also old with incorrect (cheaper) prices, but they clearly can’t afford to print new ones with their more expenses prices because their business is tanking. Rightfully so.
Save yourself the grief and just cook this meal yourself for less money, or take a trip to Birria-Landia in NYC for authentic Birria tacos that are worth the long-lines. The real birria tacos and real consome is packed with soft meat and are rich with flavor and love.
This Paraiso Rosel place is fraudulent and should take the Birria off their menu if they’re better at cooking other things because their birria tacos suck and consome is shameful. Sad. Disappointing. We will never be returning. In fact, if this is what they can pull-off with this level of food, I’ll be opening my own restaurant selling birria tacos right nearby to out-compete these people and return honor to authentic...
Read moreI've driven by this restaurant many times and finally took the time to stop in. Setting: The atmosphere was so welcoming. It is very well lit and clean. It is not a big location by any means, but that's what I love about its location: very personal and well displayed.
Service: The staff and owner were nothing short of welcoming and pleasant. They took the time to answer any questions I had and explained their dishes is wonderful detail.
Food: The food was AMAZING! I had the Ceviche Tostada and the sauce they used on it was original and so flavorful. Whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant, I always order this dish... No exaggeration, this is the BEST Ceviche Tostada I've ever had. I also had the street tacos that reminded me so much of home.
I urge anyone who has taken the time to read this to give this restaurant a shot. I guarantee you will not be disappointed and I wouldn't be surprised if you see me there because I found...
Read moreAte here once before and thought it was pretty good. Decided to go back and was beyond disappointed. Was told over the phone my order would take 20 mins. Living in the area, i came 10 mins past my scheduled time just in case they were busy. They were the opposite. Not one customer. I get there requesting my to go order and the cook is sitting in the back talking and on his phone while half my order wasn't even made yet and forgot about! Was told i had to wait 5 mins for the pizza ended up waiting 30 mins just to leave without my pizza and my salad that wasnt started. The cook tried to give me attitude about being the only cook, but when i come your lounging like your on break. I've worked at many places with 1 cook and this never happened. The younger girl and boy up front were very pleasant and understanding of the situation and refunded me with no issue. After the disrespect from the cook i dont think i...
