McDonald's — Restaurant in Helena-West Helena

This was perhaps the best McDonald's ever in the entire United States of America. 7 hours into a 14-hour drive which had turned into what would have been, without the help of this McDonald's, the end of a 20-year marriage. As with any road trip, tempers were high and arguments frequent, the seas were angry that day. Hunger loomed ominously and almost debilitating in its veracity. We had stopped at Taco Bell first. They said there was a hold on all products for thirty minutes as they all piled into an SUV and smoked blunts while listening to that rap music everyone was talking about. We tried Sonic again but I couldn't figure out how to get my card to work. They didn't have boards in the stalls anymore so I could not figure out how to order. People just kept walking by. What happened to the skates? Finally is the last bastion we went to McDonald's. And like any true American embassy- it was a safe haven for two road ragged travelers strife with petty bickering and on their pilgrimage to the casino mecca. Ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese, plain. It was like ambrosia, the nectar of the gods. Perfect...

I used the drive through approximately two weeks ago. I placed my order and was given a total for my order. I pulled up to the 1st window no one ever came to the register. It is a little after 6am. I proceeded to the 2nd window. I gave the cashier a $10 bill. She gave me my coffee and sausage biscuit. Then she closed the window and continued to talk with another worker there. I sat there another 10 minutes. She never came back to the window. Therefore, I hunked my horn to get her attention. I told her that I was awaiting my change and shut the window back. She then stated "I'm waiting on some change". My issue with this is how did I suppose to know she was waiting on change. This individual was not young she was of age. I haven't been back to McDonald's since this episode. Finally, she gave me my change and never said "I apologize for the wait". I had never received this type of service from McDonald's. This was my one stop...

If you actually want food, go anywhere but this McDonald's!!

If zero stars was an option I would give it. We paid at the kiosk and paid. No receipt was given and when I asked for one they said that they could not reprint one. The 15 min later there was still no food.

The manager was the rudest person in customer service I have exer experienced as she blamed the customers for not having recipets when she called out an order that was not even for the inside lobby but the drive threw. After 15 min and no food I left because I do not suspect that my meal was going to even be thought of for another 15 at least. When I hollared out to tell them to just forget it they stared at me and did not even acknowledge that they heard.

This was the biggest joke of a "restaurant" I have ever been to considering I paid money to leave...
