Front young girl give us a hard time upon entering with a reservation can’t accept that we requested a table for four and there’s 2 of us. We need the extra table spaces and she took all the silverware and napkins off the table and tried to give us a hard time saying we have to wait for the other 2 people b4 she could seat us. What's it matter,? NOT going to sit in a cold lobby even if the others are not there or the deal was only for 2. And we had a Reservation. We spend a lot of $$ at this place but they iced us by saying they didn't have to clean a table when the table was already set and she eventually sat us at the table that was all set up for us. There was no table that needed cleaned for 4. It was already clean. They just wanted to waste our time. Zack was the waiter Amy was filling in and they were good. They have a goofy policy about seating everyone together, so if you eat allot and need a bigger table they say here you can ask for a bigger table at reservation time. I can deal with that if you can get a bigger table most places you have to ask for 4 to get a bigger table. /UPDATE TO BUSINESS RESPONSE: No the hostess hit us with a deposition of questions after I explained there’s only 2 . We were NOT SAT PROMPTLY, that’s why this review is being posted, I understand you have policy but as you can see the 4 seat table is packed and we need the room. I’m happy to pay $17 for the Pecan ball desert, And even though Rodney’s is very expensive we spend about $3k a yr here with personal visits, and I bring many bus. ass. to Rodney’s. I just didn’t like lied to about cleaning off a table when I could see the table was set for 4 vacant and after icing us for 10 minutes, eventually we were seated in that exact table that was for our reservation that was clearly clean and set up. Rodney, For the most part, we like your plc and the svc is usually close to perfect, 1 server forgot food a few Times but that’s ok, we were there in 2024 18 times with MC crew and we take many people here. The food is good, expensive but I’m happy to pay. We did leave a $30 tip on the bill for the sever Zack. So to be clear, we’re going to bump the 1star review to 4 stars because Rodney explained. As long as they keep that awesome $17 Pecan ball is the best in PA, we will be a fan of Rodney’s. No one is perfect. We just want to eat comfortable and have space on the tables as seen in the pictures. We want Rodney’s to stay in business and not be hurt by a low review over 1visit. As long as we can have a table for 4 or 6-8 when we come with our gang we come with an appetite and just don’t like being questioning. We’re happy to tip well and spend at Rodney’s but sometimes a few bikers may not make it so we can’t wait for everyone to show up. But we eat big, and we’re happy to spend it, Know we know how to play the system. We had increased the original 1star to 4 stars for Rodney’s, because they don’t deserve the 1 star since they explained we can order a bigger table. It’s their business. Run it like you want. We Realize how google reviews can hurt a business, and we don’t think Rodney should be held hostage by Googles neg. reviews over this matter. Overall they are good restaurant that we constantly refer to others and frequent. We just wanted to get their ATTENTION on this matter to let em explain.. However, They do need to keep screaming children at bay though at least a sign keep babies from screaming, we want to eat in peace ) Please don’t let our review sway you away from Rodney's, they provide jobs and opportunities for our economy, the food/is Good, (bring your wallet) and there good over All. Please see photos of their great food posted. UPDATE: 2/15/2025 TO RODNEYS REQUEST TO REMOVE PICTURE: We have, at Rodney's Request, removed the picture of your waitress dropping the tray, it wasn't to be originally intended to be included n the beautiful pictures of Rodney Food!! Make it a Rodney's NIGHT OUT you will enjoy yourself!! Thanks Rodney!!!

This was my first experience at Rodney's, however my company had been there before and had nothing but compliments so; it's a good time to try it seeing that we've been passing it daily as of late. Upon arrival, the lot was full, as was most of the building however we were still promptly seated by very pleasant staff. Soyla was our server, she was very pleasant, we'd definitely request her again, she was quite knowledgeable about menu items when asked regardless of the item. We started off with pizza as an appetizer..... The crust was well made and cooked through appropriately even with excessivel veg added which many seem to have difficulty doing. The sauce had an authentic taste not so heavy with spice so our whole party could enjoy it. Next was salad which was typical salad. One in our party had wedding soup which was enjoyable. I ordered the Stuffed Banana peppers with angel hair pasta which was swapped for Penne pasta... the stuffed banana peppers were delicious, perfectly spicy however the sauce with the pasta left little to be desired for my taste. There was a lack of flavor and very little spice in the rest of the dish. Another in our party ordered the Pasta Fabrizzi which was a beautifully spicy mix of pasta, veg, spicy sausage... absolutely delicious. However for him though all was cooked perfectly; this dish was far too spicy... so, the 2 of us switched dishes problem solved, he loved my plain sauce, I loved his spicy dish. Win-win!! The final person in our party ordered the alfredo. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce creamy & luscious, just lacked slightly the cheesy taste of the alfredo though she would definitely order it again. And the bread.... the one thing it's impossible to get a picture of before everyone stuffs it in their gob... oh good lord..... one little loaf is never enough. We will definitely be back to try something new. The portions are huge, the pizza is delicious and I imagine there are a ton of hidden gems on their menu.

I stopped here for lunch today with my family. We have visited twice before recently and each visit gets progressively worse. Today’s visit was not so good. There were 4 people in our group and we had the same waitress as our last visit. Unfortunately we were not pleased with her last visit nor this visit. She is not attentive, doesn’t check on the tables nearly enough. She seemingly gets frustrated with elderly folks and their questions or requests…like my grandmother asking for her sandwich to be cut in half. We had to find another server to ask for water refills and extra napkins. Today we were seated by a large group and they were extremely loud. One ordered meal was a burger and chips. The chips are nothing more than bagged potato chips and with this particular meal what was served was the bottom of the bag crumbs. Another meal was the steak philly sandwich, also with crumbled chips. When the waitress was asked what other sides were available she listed the few but EVERYTHING is an up charge…EVEN APPLESAUCE!!! The cost of the up charge for a salad, French fries, onion rings etc is absolutely outrageous and definitely not worth it for the portion served. The cup of soup served with a half sandwich was in the smallest square bowl. Several pieces of the chicken in the wedding soup were not edible. The taste of the rest of the food was decent. The vegetable pizza that I ordered tasted good but the pieces of vegetables were huge!! Unfortunately I don’t think we will be returning anytime soon

So tonight our Family came to Rodney's for dinner to Celebrate our son coming home from Army MP Officer School and before he heads to his Duty Station! He and his wife has eaten here before but it was myself, my wife, mother in-law and sister-in-law's first time eating here. So we get here and they said its going to be at least an hour wait, we didn't mind because we heard the Food was Fantastic. Plus it gave us time to catch up with our daughter in law's family. So we get seated after about a 90 minute wait (reason for the wait we had 8 people) with menu's in hand, drink orders within 2-3 mins. So I wanted to begin with how Wonderful our waitress Lisa was, Service was Excellent, and everything was Spot On!! So we get our drinks and Orders taken! Let me tell you this Resturant was getting Slammed and Lisa was seriously on her Game. So we all get our food and 7 out of 8 of us got different kinds of Pasta and let say everything was some of the Best we've ever Tasted! I'm not going to say what everyone got but my wife got the Seafood Aglio olio(Great) and I got the Pasta Fabrizzi with Angel hair(Outstanding) and we also saved room for Dessert (Chocolate Peanut Butter Landslide(To Die For) So even though we had to wait for 90 minutes we really didn't mind because they have a very nice waiting area with comfortable benches, the food was definitely worth the wait! 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! And we will Definitely be back & we'll be asking for Lisa!! Thank You Rodney's!!

Decent restaurant with pretty average food. The ceasar salad was a complete miss for me but the pierogi pizza was great with an immaculate cheese pull. If you are a water person, the water here is horrible. I ended up ordering a Diet Pepsi just to drown out the toilet water taste. The prices here are extremely affordable which is great and the only reason I rated the food a 4. Definitely an older crowd with an atmosphere that would appeal to an after church crew. I’m giving it a 4 star overall because although this place wasn’t my cup of tea, I don’t think a low rating would be fair given I don’t think I’m the audience they aim to attract.
