Waiter was awful had to approach another server, which was a young nice girl at another table and asked her if we had a waiter. We sat there 15 minutes without being greeted or asked if we would like something to drink. We ask the girl next to our table, she went and found somebody and finally the waiter came over, and did not even introduce himself so I can’t even post his name asked what he could get us. My husband said we are ready to order. Also he rolled his eyes at my husband when he said that, and then he proceeded to take our drink and order took another 25 minutes to just get our drinks and then about another 25 minutes to get our salads and appetizer Sat there ate our salads are food arrives and he comes. He never came and checked if we needed anything or nothing then finally He came back and said oh sir, did you get your appetizer and he was standing right at the table serving the salads whenever the Manager I guess she was dressed in a white shirt came over and handed my son his appetizer. He didn’t even realize we got the appetizer he was not very knowledgeable had to ask food runner when he bought our meals for refills on drinks, extra napkins, and so forth because waiter was never to be found. He was taking care of his big tables though where he figured he probably make the bigger tips, but that’s not always the case good service good tip came back took a few dishes came back and asked if we wanted dessert we said no we’ll just take our checks. Please took forever again to just get our checks. We waited after we put our credit cards down for him to come back and take our checks to bring them out highly upset of how we were treated with our service we love your restaurant. You have the best food in the area will be back but I hope we never get him as a server again. I hope you take this to consideration and maybe talk to him so he doesn’t serve other people like he served us. Thank you we were there on Saturday night June 29 reservations were for 630 did not get out of there till 915. That’s kind of sad how long it took.and the table next to us said he is very very slow. We were seated at the 6 top in the middle way back in the back...

This was my first experience at Rodney's, however my company had been there before and had nothing but compliments so; it's a good time to try it seeing that we've been passing it daily as of late. Upon arrival, the lot was full, as was most of the building however we were still promptly seated by very pleasant staff. Soyla was our server, she was very pleasant, we'd definitely request her again, she was quite knowledgeable about menu items when asked regardless of the item. We started off with pizza as an appetizer..... The crust was well made and cooked through appropriately even with excessivel veg added which many seem to have difficulty doing. The sauce had an authentic taste not so heavy with spice so our whole party could enjoy it. Next was salad which was typical salad. One in our party had wedding soup which was enjoyable. I ordered the Stuffed Banana peppers with angel hair pasta which was swapped for Penne pasta... the stuffed banana peppers were delicious, perfectly spicy however the sauce with the pasta left little to be desired for my taste. There was a lack of flavor and very little spice in the rest of the dish. Another in our party ordered the Pasta Fabrizzi which was a beautifully spicy mix of pasta, veg, spicy sausage... absolutely delicious. However for him though all was cooked perfectly; this dish was far too spicy... so, the 2 of us switched dishes problem solved, he loved my plain sauce, I loved his spicy dish. Win-win!! The final person in our party ordered the alfredo. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce creamy & luscious, just lacked slightly the cheesy taste of the alfredo though she would definitely order it again. And the bread.... the one thing it's impossible to get a picture of before everyone stuffs it in their gob... oh good lord..... one little loaf is never enough. We will definitely be back to try something new. The portions are huge, the pizza is delicious and I imagine there are a ton of hidden gems...

Rodney’s is a wonderful restaurant to go for consistently good food, and great service when you dine in. Take out, lately has been sub par at best. My last 3 take out orders, my food was incorrect. Not incorrect as in “I got lasagna and ordered wings”. Just annoying incorrect. They arnt big take out orders. Just some wings, in their sweet hot sauce AND seasoned w/ blu cheese on the side. And my wings or tenders have either not had the blu cheese, or not been seasoned/sauced at all. Today I ordered tenders, sauced and seasoned with blu cheese. I pick my order up, drive down the road, check my tenders, and they are plain tenders. No seasoning no sauce. I turn around, wait in traffic, pull in and I show the cashier my receipt and my tenders. Instead of saying “my apologies, I’ll take care of it.”. I’m told “oh she put the sauce on the side.” If that’s the case, they still arnt seasoned, and there was no sauce in the tenders container or the blu cheese and celery container. Don’t lie. Just make it right. She takes the tenders back, douses them in sweet hot sauce and says “here you go, they are drowning in sauce now.” Still unseasoned. Is this enough for me to never return? No. Is this enough for me to check my orders now on every order before I leave the parking lot. Absolutely.

Update: general manager reached out to me, was apologetic, and wanted to make my experience right. - this goes to show that Rodney’s does care about their customers and want to make sure they keep staying one of the most consistently great restaurants...

I stopped here for lunch today with my family. We have visited twice before recently and each visit gets progressively worse. Today’s visit was not so good. There were 4 people in our group and we had the same waitress as our last visit. Unfortunately we were not pleased with her last visit nor this visit. She is not attentive, doesn’t check on the tables nearly enough. She seemingly gets frustrated with elderly folks and their questions or requests…like my grandmother asking for her sandwich to be cut in half. We had to find another server to ask for water refills and extra napkins. Today we were seated by a large group and they were extremely loud. One ordered meal was a burger and chips. The chips are nothing more than bagged potato chips and with this particular meal what was served was the bottom of the bag crumbs. Another meal was the steak philly sandwich, also with crumbled chips. When the waitress was asked what other sides were available she listed the few but EVERYTHING is an up charge…EVEN APPLESAUCE!!! The cost of the up charge for a salad, French fries, onion rings etc is absolutely outrageous and definitely not worth it for the portion served. The cup of soup served with a half sandwich was in the smallest square bowl. Several pieces of the chicken in the wedding soup were not edible. The taste of the rest of the food was decent. The vegetable pizza that I ordered tasted good but the pieces of vegetables were huge!! Unfortunately I don’t think we will be returning anytime soon
