McDonald's — Restaurant in Henagar

While I hate writing this because this McDonald’s use to be amazing, service was good, always friendly, mostly the second window workers, food was always hot. I’m sad to say that is no longer a thing, went through the drive thru about three times this month and I was throughly let down, first of all, girl in front window didn’t acknowledge my existence for about 5-10 minutes, then gave me my food, and drinks, my drinks lid was half-way popped off, disappointed that people do not know how to put a lid on correctly. I was handed my food soon after, and I checked my bag and didn’t see the sauce I had paid for, was trying to ask the young girl in window if she could grab me some, window slammed in face. Just drive off, turns out I was correct, no sauce. The next time food was incorrect, left tomatoes on sandwich, which I’m allergic too, had to throw away and go to henagar jacks (who got my food correct.),I thought I would give them on more shot at my business the last time I went inside, ordered and got my cup and food, left the building and didn't have my fries on the bag. On 3/17, Henagar location, I ordered the Oreo shamrock shake, and on the drive-thru order screen it said “shamrock shake” so I said I wanted the Oreo one. They said “Right, that’s what it is.” First red flag. I pulled to the first window and when I tried to verify it, the lady said it was the same thing. Another reason to know this was going to be wrong. Get to the second window, and lo’ and behold there is the plain one sitting. I explained to the guy working that window it was wrong, and he said I wasn’t charged for the Oreo version. Which was fine. I told him I knew and that I had tried to make sure of what I was getting at least twice after ordering. He apologized and I told him it was fine. The line behind me was too long and I was on my “lunch break” that isn’t really a lunch break. I’m a restaurant manager, I was before the pandemic and currently still am so I refrain from leaving comments especially on Google but I have experienced POOR service from this location multiple times over the past year(that I have lived in Henagar)therefore I try not to visit. Tonight I closed and was almost home when my daughter called to say she and some friends were at the house and they were hungry..could I grab some food on my way home? Well that’s where I ran into an issue…at 10:36pm your restaurant was completely closed down, I drove around to be sure that the drive-thru stated that you closed at 11:00pm which is when I saw what appeared to be a manager walking around checking to make sure the doors were all locked!
