Mazatlan Mexican Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Henderson

I don’t usually do reviews but I have to express my upmost disappointment when it comes to the customer service I received at this facility today ,specifically the one at 1052 ruin creek road Henderson NC. I am a returning customer and I happened to be out with my 2 year old daughter who suddenly wanted to pee. I stoped by shell gas station and it was out of order. Very desperate I stopped by mazaltan and pleaded with the man at the front. My 2 year old was so pressed to the point of crying. The man refused to let us use the bathroom. I offered to buy something so he could please let her use their restroom. He said a soda is $3.00 ; I had to return to the car and got a $5 dollar bill, came back handed it to him and just zoomed to the restroom as my baby had already began peeing on herself. As we were done , we did not receive the soda we paid $5 for. We just left. Sometimes it’s not about the money; a child was in distress and the man was not humane enough to help. It is guaranteed that my family and I will never set foot here. As a business owner myself I understand that your facility is not a public restroom but when a child is involved I believe it’s only right to use one’s conscience. If I could rate this place a zero, I would. I went in sometime this week with my husband. We came in about 30 minutes before closing, I asked the lady up front if they were still seating people and would be okay with a party of 2. She stared blankly at me, ignored me, and talked to my friends who were leaving. I asked again, telling her if not it's okay and she said "the kitchen closes in 15 minutes" I said "awesome, thank you!" And my husband followed in quickly behind me. The second we sat down she turned to my husband and told him to order, we've never been there before and wanted a minute to read the menu we had just gotten. She bitterly said "the kitchen closes in 5 minutes" Crazy, cause not even a minute ago it was 15?? I ordered a shrimp quesadilla, I received it and there was NO cheese!!! I'm not gonna bother to send it back, but before I could even say anything, our waitress turned off the music when we sat down, and she cussed me and my husband out in Spanish and called us racial slurs. $7.99 for a pint of draft beer??? This review is more to let people know the difference between the old and the new restaurant. I am here in Henderson for work for a few days. I came to the original restaurant yesterday for the first time with a sales rep of mine. Our lunch special was really good. We both had a beer and left. Today we went to the new location not realizing that it was the same name/restaurant. We liked our food so much yesterday that we ended up ordering the exact same thing. When we got the check it was $13 more at the new restaurant than the other. Food price was the same. Turns out…the two Modelo Especials were $7.99 each at the new restaurant. I don’t know what they are at the old location but obviously a lot cheaper. I actually had a 22oz the first time and it was still way cheaper. Anyway…food was great, I’d eat there again and again but I’d eat at the old one and have...
