Punjabi Tadka Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Henderson

Keep in mind, this place is brand new to the Henderson \ Oxford area. It's going to have to work out some kinks. First off, the food was spectacular. I had the butter chicken, which is my favorite Indian dish, and it was very good. I ordered it really spicy, which I handle well, and they didn't disappoint. Also had the goat vindaloo, which was also spot on. Their naan bread section has a lot to choose from. We ordered 3 types, they all paired well with the meals. There is just a huge variety of appetizers, meals, breads, and dessert. I think the town caught them off guard. I don't think they expected so much business right from the starr, meaning we waited for our food for a long time. I feel if they had 1 more cook and 1 more waiter, they'd fair better. If they had a hostess to seat people and handle the take out orders, that would help too. Aside from this minor improvement needed, the food was excellent, the servers were very nice, the place is clean. I think i would have liked more Indian decor, but that's me. I like immersion. I'll certainly go back. It sure beats having to drive 40 minutes for authentic Indian food or making it at home. Take out is an option too. A welcome addition to the town. I wish them...

Well, this place definitely exceeded my expectations.

I really wanted to sit down and eat there but we ended up needing to do takeout. I wish I had gotten pictures too, but when I tell you this food was DELICIOUS....

I got the Saag Paneer and my boyfriend got the Chili Chicken and we added 2 orders of Garlic Naan (obviously). My meal was so good but I ended up REALLY enjoying the Chili Chicken. And of course the Garlic Naan was absolutely perfect.

The owner and staff are very sweet and excited to be part of the community and will be doing more with the space in the months to come. And they start their lunch buffet tomorrow! I'll report back on that when I've had a chance to stop in again.

This place is incredible and an absolute upgrade for Henderson the likes of which haven't been seen in some time. The food is FANTASTIC. It's so flavorful and well made. I love Indian food and have eaten in Indian restaurants all over the country and this may be the best I've ever had which is amazing since it's so close to me. The service is friendly and quick and the atmosphere is actually very nice. I think I read they're going to open a lounge/bar in the empty space next door at some point and I'm exciting because it will be a good place to just relax and have some drinks with friends.
