Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Henderson

This place was just terrible. It’s probably the best place for the locals, since that’s the only Mexican restaurant there. My family and I were traveling from GA to NY. We happened to stop here to get a quick bite to eat. The hostess was just rude and disrespectful. My mom was wearing boots, since we were preparing to enter NY winter storm. This short lady? Kept staring at my mom and laughing. They took forever to bring us our food and they hurried us up to leave. The food wasn’t even that great. I asked for real Mexican tacos and they gave me so soaked flour tortilla with dry chicken. The worst part was, there was a cockroach in there.

My daughter and I ate at Mazatlan on 05/20/23, we were a little hesitant at first because others had shared their dining experience on Facebook, and they were very dissatisfied with their food and service. We decided to give it a try because their experience may not have been ours. Well, our server was amazing, but the food was absolutely disgusting. It was the worst I've ever had. It even made me sick later that night, I would've expressed it to management, but they would've assumed we were trying to get something for free.
