Pepaw's BBQ — Restaurant in Hendersonville

9/12/24 I just ordered a rib plate that comes with two sides. With tax it was $20. I asked for black beans and slaw, no roll. I got, a roll, beans and no slaw. I basically paid $5 each for the four little ribs. The ribs had adequate smoke but were under charred. The hot bbq sauce was good. The black beans were straight from the can with nothing added for flavor. They weren’t busy so messing up the order was just carelessness or PeePaw can’t hear MeeMaw. It wasn’t terrible, the ribs and sauce were tasty, way over priced for what I received, and I’ll pay for good bbq! When I go to my fav bbq in Brevard, I’ll drop $30 for lunch and feel good about what I got. Sorry I can’t recommend this place as it’s right near my house and pass it...

Ordered two BBQ sandwiches with 2 sides. Our server neglected to ring up a sweet tea, so we had to charge another $1.50 on top of our 26.00 sandwich bill. FYI, they will take credit cards. We were out of cash, so we had to make two separate credit card charges. The pork came from a roast in their oven, and had no seasoning or smoked flavor. It was sliced instead of chopped, and contained a lot of fat around each slice. The slaw was coarse chopped and seemed to be prepackaged slaw. The Mac and cheese was dry and overcooked. I gave this place a second chance and wow I should have just saved my money... I was the only person in line and they got both of my side dishes wrong. She listed what they had available, I gave my two choices and now that I have opened them at home neither one are correct...I don't understand how you could get that wrong. It's very disappointing considered I just spent $18 and didn't even receive the food that I ordered. They did manage to put the pulled pork sandwich in my bag so I guess that's something. I will...
