Starving Artist — Local services in Hendersonville

I have been wanting to come and see this place for a while now. About two months ago my wife and I checked out the website and then called to ask about any updated Covid-19 rules because on the site it mentioned no more then two people allowed in at a time. We drove the hours drive on a Saturday just to find out they were closed on Saturdays. The the business profile and Facebook hadn't been updated so I assumed it was a new thing. Well today December 4th we thought hey Christmas is getting close and Google says they are open until 6 let's go check them out.... Nope closed at 4:00 and even checked Facebook again.We just can't win. These folks must be doing tremendously well to be closed so often. Surprisingly well stocked from Holbein watercolors to about the entire product lineup of Nitram charcoal! Yes you read that right!

They do have plenty of materials suitable for beginners and students but I was pleased to find a local store that stocked some of the finest professional grade art materials money can buy. I am so happy to have discovered this art store. Great variety of supplies including my favorite acrylic paints. Feels better to support a place like this then buying online. Friendly and fun young woman at the counter who I am sure would have been quite helpful had I needed any assistance.
