Went here today on a lunch date. We got the 25$ certificate for $12.50 from el dorado broadcasters. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and the garlic naan. Our total after that was about $5. This place is pretty out of the way, but definetly worth trying. They are still fairly new and I'm hoping they get a soda fountain soon. They literally have cans of soda and bottled water in a fridge. They give you foam cups for your water and paper plates with plastic cutlery. There was only one other table of people when we went. The lady who served us was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is lacking, very plain and empty. It is clean and quiet. If you're looking to impress a date, this place is not the one. If you're looking for a delicious meal that will have you going back again then this is the place for you. The food was fresh and flavorful. I'm being nice about the 5star rating because I think this place deserves some more business and time to get on their feet. There is a lot of potential here and could be an amazing place once they get everything in order. The food alone deserves 5 stars and it would be a shame to see them go under due to cutting costs. I will definitely be going back and hope to see them grow into something a little more...
Read moreI read most of the reviews for this place. You can tell by names of the 5 star reviewers that they are not North Indian. This is not north indian or Punjabi food. The containers they use for to go orders are cheap and many reviewers have mentioned that.
If you like to eat good food and have knowledge of good tasting indian food then this is not the restaurant. They dont have a chef here to be honest with you reviewers. Its like someone shows up to work and they get trained by a untrained person in like 2 hours. Lol
Look at their kitchen and the place itself. If you go inside there kitchen you will never eat here. Look at the food and taste it. Then you will know if the chef has any knowledge of cooking. If you give this place a 5 star then I dont know what world you are living. I just feel sorry for you.
Probably a Punjabi running this place that has Zero knowledge of running a business and zero knowledge of taste. Zero knowledge of remodeling the place. Zero knowledge of hiring a interior designer. Zero knowledge of being clean. Zero knowledge of putting effort into a restaurant!
Bring some good fresh food with a good atmosphere, Cleanliness,...
Read moreI bought food here. You walk up to a counter, you order and pay, you stand around and wait for it to get done, and they call your number and you take your bag of food and leave. Just like mcdonald's! So, my question is, does anybody tip for counter service at McDonald's or other fast food or other counter service places? So I ordered my food paid for it walked away with a $40 and change bill and then two days later going over my bank account I realized they've added a $6 tip without my authorization. Is that legal? It kind of seems like stealing to me. As for the food, it's okay. I found it to be pretty good, not as good as some of my other Indian food places that I hit in my travels back and forth across the country. Serving sizes are small for the price you pay here. Probably the priciest Indian food place that I encounter out here on the road. Many of the other comments state that they are really nice people. I'm afraid I didn't really experience that. Here's the thing, the food could be amazing the people could be amazing but if you steal from me I'm never coming back. And I feel like that's what...
