Cake Delights Bakery — Restaurant in Hialeah

What a great little warm, centric, family-owned and operated...bakery/cafe to visit that is just 3-1/2 blocks East of LeJeune Road (East 8th Avenue in Hialeah) on East 4th Ave and the South East corner of 16th Srreet. They usually are open from 7:00 a.m. to like 7:00 p.m.? That's Mon. - Fri. and Sat. and Sun. of course it's a little different but nonetheless...very accessible place to visit and pick up your favourite Hispanic goodies.

Extremely clean and fresh foods, desserts, little bite-sized snacks, sandwiches, Cuban Pizza (Yes Pizza in a Bakery👍. Love their combo at really anytime of the day of the Pizza and a soda for just $5.00 made fresh to order. Great for us sales people always on the road and in a hurry 👍. Very well priced and not inflated on all of the many yummy items they offer. I've been visiting quite regularly there since this current family (that also owns another 2 bakeries/cafe) recently took over the place. Really like the new look and decor compared to the previous owners before especially now with the stand up tables you can eat the items right there (with no disrespect to previous owners at all here but, these people really know their stuff. It's just so much better now. And the variety of items has expanded exponentially too! My family and I buy from them all the time. We especially love their homemade, family-size Flan 👍👍. We ordered our Mother's Day cake as well as Birthdays and special occasions too. Always just right👌. I myself have pretty much tried all across the board on their goodies like Guava, Guava & Cheese, Cheese alone pastries or (pastelitos). The croquets of ham, cheese, chicken also always fresh. And their shakes are just so very tasty. My mom especially loves the "Mamey batido / shake👍. And if your really hungry at lunch time..try their 12" Steak sandwich it's a mouthful. It comes with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, (oil & vinegar, salt and pepper upon request )cooked onions, shoe string potatoes, mayo, ...cut in half diagonally 👍and so well priced too.
