Saint City B-B-Q — Restaurant in Hialeah

I bought 2 Rib sandwiches which were salty. I asked for more BBQ sauce to tone it down. Cashier advised me there's a charge of 50 cents each. I told him that wasn't fair I'm not returning food I just wanted more BBQ sauce to tone done. He went to say I'm the only one who complained and he'll give me 1 & I'll have to pay for the other one. I asked him you rather lose a customer and sale over .50 cents.Needless to say I returned both sandwiches and they charged my credit card $21.40. We're talking about a CHURCH. How can you charge me something I returned? I put in a dispute and waiting on my credit card to be refunded. I'm so glad I paid with a credit card and not cash. Think about it, they lost food customer and sale. I wouldn't be surprised if they resold the sandwiches. JESUS TAKE...

I had to do some work at the property next door in 2018, and their smokers were right on the other side of the fence from us! The smell was driving me nuts all morning. To give you an idea, the guys I was working with those few days STILL talk about how good it was. Their co workers throughout the state have heard of this place and the amazing BBQ in a church. Keep doing what y'all are doing, because you are definitely doing it right!

Update: we were working in that area again Tuesday 11/24, and when I told one of the guys I worked with 2 years ago that I wanted to introduce this new crew to it, he drove down and bought us all lunch. It was just as good as I remembered. Rib...

To Avoid Disappointment ..GO Elsewhere! ..The food was terrible🤮! Yellow rice, mac and cheese, collard greens and a slab of ribs👎🏽. Everything was wrong ..Food lacked flavor collards taste plain watery, mac & cheese was noodles with a bit of cheap cheese, yellow rice from 2 days ago, Ribs fatty uncleaned & old🤮I was disgusted. I hope my contribution for that dinner help buy seasonings or fund someone who can really cook. Nothing was made with love except how it was packaged. Please do better. OR CLOSE DOWN.
