Whataburger — Restaurant in Hillsboro

I recently stopped by the Whataburger in Hillsboro, TX, on Corsicana Hwy, and I had a great breakfast experience. I ordered a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit with large fries and a Sausage Breakfast on a Bun (BOB) with medium fries and orange juice.

Firstly, let me praise the fries; they were fried to perfection - golden, crispy, and just the right amount of salt. It's always a delight when the side dish is as impressive as the main course.

Now, I did have a small hiccup with my order - I intended to get the Jalapeno Biscuit but received a regular one instead. However, I must say, I didn't make a big deal out of it, and it didn't spoil my experience. Mistakes can happen, and what truly matters is how they're handled. In this case, it wasn't a major issue, and it certainly didn't overshadow the positives of the visit.

Both breakfast sandwiches I received were not only delicious but also well put together, and I appreciate the attention to detail. There's nothing worse than food that's hastily thrown together and falls apart when you're trying to enjoy it. In this instance, the Whataburger team ensured that my meal was a satisfying and enjoyable one.

I'd like to commend Joshua, the team member who assisted me during my visit. He was polite and efficient, making the drive-thru experience quick and hassle-free. When you're on a road trip and just want a satisfying meal without long delays, courteous and efficient service is greatly appreciated.

In summary, my visit to Whataburger in Hillsboro, TX, was a positive one. Despite a minor mix-up with the biscuit order, the meal was delicious, well-assembled, and the fries were a standout. Joshua's friendly service and the overall efficiency of the drive-thru made this a convenient stop on my way back to Round Rock. I'd definitely consider returning for another meal...

We will never go back!! We've been going here for years and never have I thought I'd see what I did. Was 1 vehicle from the window to get our food. The young lady handed the people in front of us, our food. She went through it, and said this wasn't her order. Handed it back to the woman in the drive up window. She sat it right near the glass. Then she handed the woman her correct food and they drove away. We pulled up, and she handed me the same bag that she gave the woman in front of us, that was already handled by the other person and returned. I said would you please get us fresh food because you already gave this to another customer. She then put the food in another bag, and tried to give it to me again. I said again, please make us fresh food. A young lady who I could not see, yelled out, It Is Fresh!!!. So I asked for my money back because they weren't going to get us fresh food. We won't go back, because now we know they will give your food to someone else, take it back after it's been handled by other people, try and give it to you after that. Which is illegal to do!! You aren't even supposed to take it back once someone takes it from you. Especially if they go through the food and open a package to see what it is. Very upsetting. So we have had to find a new place for breakfast and lunch during the week. I eat there or did eat there 4 times a week for breakfast and a couple of times for lunch for and with family and friends for takeout. Not anymore. Sorry so long, but still very upset...

This store could use a visit from upper management! Stopped in Saturday night on my way through and ordered 2 taquitos and a hashbrown. After almost 30 minutes of waiting and watching everyone else get there food that came in after me, I heard the young girl say "this is for order number 59"... i watch the manager bag it up, place it with another order and hand it to the guy that just ordered. At this time i just asked for my money back, because i had to get back on the road, it had be over 30 minutes. She said sure honey, I understand, and hollered out not to make my order... i said, it was already made and given to another customer, and she responds with " I am sorry, we are short staffed and have 2 new girls that dont know anything"... really? That's your go to? Instead of offering it o make it right, she gave me my money back and offered no help, except when I asked if there was anything open, because I still had to eat... she spent the next 2 to 3 minutes asking were I was heading, and that McDonald's and IHop were open in town. Ummm... in the time it took to explain were else I could eat, you could of had my order DONE!

This store needs upper management to come in and do a complete training and overhaul of the staff. They have some great talent, but poor leadership. Not to mention there was zero hand washing, wiping food on clothing and the place was dirty.

All in all, this is one whataburger I will...
