The alcohol in the house margarita is weak. The flavor in this watered down margarita is pretty ok, if you like sprite soda. The chips don't taste homemade. The salsa is medium. They block the nicer area of the restaurant from usage. Probably need to pass them a twenty to use that area? Probably for VIP only. I saw a few people eating in there. The Patron tastes like they water it down with another tequila. I ordered just a shot on Sunday and that's what I got. The top shelf margarita doesn't taste any better than the house margarita. Both margaritas made weak. The margaritas also tasted like they was made using sprite soda as it had a fizzy taste to it. I was hoping for a sizzling plate for the fajita, but nope.. see pictures. I did order a fresh whole jalapeno pepper and it was mild and not spicy at all. Overall, I won't be back. Price vs value doesn't add up. Fajita plate, sour cream (had to remind them I ordered it), fresh mild jalapeno (I wanted a spicy jalapeno), house margarita, top shelf margarita, patron shot (because the margarita being so weak) costs $47 for just me. I can save $20 going to a different local Mexican restaurant and get more value. The place next to McDonald's serves be more food for less and the fajita is on a sizzling metallic plate! If you love watered-down margaritas this is your place! The staff is more concerned about being near the cash register than coming by asking if your doing okay. I always tip really well no matter how bad the experience. Some waitresses do not understand Spanish, so best to speak English here.

It was a pretty standard visit. Went with a good buddy who ordered the Fajitas and I got the chimichanga platter for our late lunch as it was after2:30 pm. We ended up with a new employee who had been there less than a week and don't think English was her first language. Nothing bad to say, it was just very average place, nothing to write home about. A few minor things to note, we only received a fork and we had to request a knife and straw as these things were not present at table nor were they offered. Glasses were basically full of ice and a little soft drink filled the spaces in between. Salsa was good and spicy which was great, what wasn't was the the amount you get in your tiny dipper cup. The chips were pretty generic garbage. The quality of the food was good. The highlight for me was the smokey flavour that had been introduced to the beans. My guess would be a little bacon grease or something along those lines added in to add to the flavour. Overall a good visit, but nothing that makes me feel the need to return here as there are so many more Mexican restaurants in the area I would still like to try out.

Great place for Mexican food! First time eating there was during the freeze of 2021. Food ordered was delicious then as it is now. I would highly recommend this location. Great for those passing thru Hillsboro for a great meal carne guisada plate and the flauta taco plate....delicious !! Recently came to eat here and my daughter ordered the barbacoa burrito.....and it was not pleasant. She said it tasted spoiled or not good, I got a taste of it and she was correct. I asked her if she wanted to order something else and she said no. So not sure what happened to that meat but it was not good. The other 2 plates, cheese enchiladas were great! Pictures are in a different posting. Returned again on 8/29 and took another person. They ordered the beef quesadilla but the tortilla was soft not toasty. He didn't want to complain about it cause he was hungry but it did need to be toasted.

$60 spent for food that we could have gotten better at fast food.

Please don’t waste your money. We wanted to support a mom and pop restaurant during our road trip back from Austin. It was a mistake. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Service was slow and not great at all.

Food was even worse than the service (if that was possible)…not the worse food I’ve ever had, but pretty close to it. Chile Relleno was lacking in flavor, very blah. Taco al Pastor tasted like something pre-packed from the grocery store that only needed heating up. Taco wasn’t great, worse than something you can get from fast food. Asked for guacamole on my tacos (supposed to be $0.35 each according to the menu) and the waitress brought out an entire dish. Guacamole looked worse than those that are mixed at the grocery store (not the natural avocado green, almost a teal green 🤢). It was bland and didn’t look fresh at all. They charged my almost $7 for the guacamole (appetizer instead of what I asked for). I talked to the guy at the register. He was rude and rolled his eyes a lot. Definitely talked to me like he could careless for what I’m talking to him about. Finally when he realized that his waitress was in the wrong for getting us the wrong one (which she even apologized for). He said “sorry that was our fault,” but did not take the charge off my ticket!!! 😳

I can’t imagine why anyone would rate them high for their food or services. I promise I’m not this disappointed because I’m from the city or anything, we’ve enjoyed small Mexican restaurant in Llano, TX on our way back from San Antonio before. This was...

If I could give no stars I would. I came with my mother here yesterday for Mother's day as she likes this place. Granted, she has only been here twice, but we will never be back.

We got seated. Had to wait 10 minutes for water to come to our table. Our top shelf margaritas with an extra shot didn't even have one shot in them. THEN...after we gave our order NOBODY EVER CAME BACK AND CHECKED ON US.

My mother and I say there for 39 minutes with empty drinks and empty salsa and chips. But the best part is that when I called another server over to help us she hiffed at us and picked up my mother's water and NEVER CAME BACK!!! I watched this woman help other people but never refill my mother's water or her chips and salsa.

Did I say that was the best part? I ws lying. WE NEVER GOT OUR FOOD. 35 minutes later and we still didn't get the ONE QUESADILLA THAT WE ORDERED! Yet the guy who can in after us and sat behind us got his food and was almost done eating it.

This whole thing made me very angry as I am a bartender myself and I would of taken good care of our server but what I won't do is put up with the worse service ive ever experienced in my life. So yea we walked out check and didn't pay for the drinks and guess what NO OME STOPPED US!!! WHY? CAUSE NO OME WAS PAYING ATTENTION TO US! THIS...
