The root beer was tasty, but our server didn’t tell us it was extra when we asked for a refill. When I got the bill and pointed out that it would’ve been nice for her to tell us refills were extra when we ordered them, she said nothing at all. The mac and cheese was kind of bland, even with additional toppings which are a little pricey. The Bird is the Word sandwich was pretty tasty. We did not care for the kettle chips and beer cheese - not enough seasoning on the chips, they weren’t very crispy, and the beer cheese wasn’t as flavorful as we hoped. The kids and I had fun playing darts and age-appropriate plastic axe throwing. The mac-and-cheese entrees we ordered felt a little incomplete. The bean soup & salad and the sandwich were all good. Our $100++ meal (with no alcohol purchased) probably would’ve been better spent somewhere else. It is possible that we ordered the wrong things, but our server recommended what we ordered and assured us that everything was good. It’s also possible we expected more of the food than we should have given that it is a brewery. Some may love it, but I would not...

I had the Grallo and my husband had the Crazy Q. Sandwiches were enough for two meals. Potato chips were amazing. You could tell the building has a LOT of history behind it. Would’ve loved to see more of the history and writing about it with pictures on the walls or something. The old bank check out windows and vault is so neat!! We kind of walked all around and looked at everything. The ax throwing area and game room was closed but we could of had them open it up for us. Looks like on a Saturday night this place would be a lot of fun. Have to be 18 out older to throw the ax. My husband wanted to buy a hat or t-shirt but not many to choose from in his size. Our waitress was great. She checked up on us all the time. The bathrooms were really old and neat. The place was really neat. Handicapped accessible on the side of the building and handicapped accessible bathrooms. I ordered a hard cider that was good and my husband ordered a beer and he said it was ok. I can’t figure out which one it was. Their menu is different online than it is in...

This is a preliminary rating, once they get going I think I will have to change it to five stars. Food was good but they were sold out of several items, no avacados, missing all appetizers, kitchen closed early. I think I would send someone to Walmart to get ingredients before I would close down the kitchen at prime dinner time. Beer was good, all seemed to be low gravity for style which I appreciate because it really allows you to try all of the beer they offer. One beer, the Scotch ale was too low gravity in my opinion. It would have been better received by me as a Scottish ale but expecting the higher gravity wee heavy scotch ale I was disappointed. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit, nice atmosphere, good food, good beer, hits on all points, can't wait to stop back in...

This place is an amazing little hidden gem of hillsdale county. The staff is super friendly and always ready to go the extra mile to make the customers experience the best. The atmosphere is quaint and family friendly, including a kids corner and multiple games available, the ambient music is always great, the live music is phenomenal and the service is absolutely impeccable. The food is amazing, it's not your average pub or bar food, its elevated dining at a reasonable price, add to that the amazing craft beers, wines, and ciders and you cant pass up the opportunity to stop in. The building has an amazing history that the staff is pretty knowledgeable about and willing to explain to anyone that asks long as they have the time.
