The Local Eatery — Restaurant in Hillsdale

This place has an old diner feel and but with a modern look to it. The servers are always friendly and helpful. If you want any kind of substitution, within reason, they're always willing to ask the kitchen staff and majority of the time they can do it. I can honestly say I've never had bad food here. It's always been hot and fresh. I love love love their Cowboy Burger and their breakfast quesadilla.

The reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because even at breakfast, with hardly any customers around, there's no gettin in and out of the place in under 40 minutes. If you want this on your lunch break, order ahead...

I have not had the pleasure yet of eating at The Local Eatery. I'm simply 5 starring the owner for replying thanks for the compliments and good reviews, and answering negative reviews with their reasonings and the circumstances of why a customer might have compelled to leave this kind of review. Customer satisfaction begins with listening, apologizing for their experience, then digging into it to find how to mend it. Checking crew and facts. Finally inviting that customer back, no matter the owner's findings and thoughts. A chance to make it right. A customer must give props for that in itself, some owner's DO...

If you want good service do not go here .the waitress is incompetent.the time I went in was slow still took almost 25 minutes for my breakfast to get to me the waitress was I guess too busy leaning over a table showing pictures to customers she knew and a kitchen staff member brought out my food and forgot part of it the incompetent waitress never once asked me if I needed anything or how was your food or offered any type of apology for the wait of my meal .the meal itself was overly salty and dry ,the waitress would of known that if she bothered to check...
