SERG Takeout Kitchen — Restaurant in Hilton Head Island

The She Crab soup is really excellent, just as good as anything from a Charleston restaurant. It is missing a fresh splash of sherry to cut through the richness, but if you can provide that it's perfect.

I do feel like some of their prices are fairly high for something you still have to cook yourself, but depending on the cuisine, it is still cheaper than eating in a restaurant. We are not local, so we like something easy to cook in a rental, and this fits the bill.

They do have good deals crop up occasionally, we recently got a pint of potato salad for $3. It needed a little salt and pepper but it was amazing quality for $3.

Most recently, we tried the Jamaican Curry pot pie. While the ingredients were obviously high quality, the taste was a bit bland. It was yellow from curry powder, but didn't have much of a curry flavor to it. We also had the chicken and veal cannelloni, which was good but primarily tasted of chicken and the portion size was small for...

We ordered when we arrived, and we got a quart of fresh Red Seafood Chowder from Skull Creek Dockside and a frozen Mac and cheese tray. The meal was ready in less than 5 mins. We took the meal back to our villa and dug in! The red seafood chowder was mind blowing! Honestly the best hands-down seafood soup/chowder I’ve ever tasted or eaten!!! Every single bite was filled with some sort of delicious meat, scallops, shrimp, crab, white fish, omgosh it was amazing. Just my wife and I destroyed a quart in minutes. I’d recommend that 100/10. Mac and cheese also turned out amazing!!!! And we got this all for around $20, can’t beat this quality and...

We had the Fish Fry Friday hot lunch special...as my 8 year old granddaughter would say, "OMG!"...it was hot, fresh and delicious! We could have shared...but I'm glad we didn't! We brought home a frozen container of their Manhattan Seafood Chowder and heated it for lunch today...once again...a homerun! And...2 slices of their creamy and tart Key Lime pie...well...all I can say is...we are going again before our week is up! We are eyeing the crab cakes and the seafood chowder pot pie...well done SERG Takeout...
