Crow Point Pizzeria — Restaurant in Hingham

Customer service is a lost art and this place proves it. We arrived to pick up our call ahead order and they informed they had given it to someone else with the same last name. Not ideal but we patiently waited -- 20ish minutes as the family at home wondered what was taking so long. When called up front to get our order, the owner offered no discount or apologies. I then broached the issue -- might you want to give a 10% or some nominal discount for our inconvenience? The owner smirked and said smugly, "mistakes happen." No apology. No attempt at an apology. Rude and entitled. Crow's Pizza thinks the customer is below them. Mistakes do happen but businesses who value their customers work to get it right. Crow's Point is not that kind of business. I’ve ordered from here maybe 10 times. The calzones are actually very good, the pizza is not. Neither of those however are the reason for this review and why I’ll NEVER go back. The girl who answers the phone is one of the RUDEST people I’ve ever spoken with representing a business. This is the second time this has happened. She seems as if she’d rather be anywhere but there. If that’s the case, just do everyone a favor and quit. I know of at least two other Hingham families that refuse to go there because of this girl. Not only do you have to deal with her on the phone but it actually gets worse in person when you come in to pay. Owner rude , not polite and not following Covid rules . We were three couples and we ordered steak tips which was over salted and spiced and could not eat . Nicely we told the owner about the issue and he insulted us , and started kicking us out of his restaurant. The wife came and apologize . In addition , we ordered rice instead of French fries , however he did not care and he served us fries . He surely had a discrimination problem against us .
