Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Hinsdale

I have been ordering Jimmy John’s from this location for probably 7 years, at least once maybe twice a month. I frequently have things wrong that I don’t even call about because it’s small and I don’t want to be petty. However I called today because my daughter got spicy chips instead of her regular ones and she couldn’t eat them, I was missing sauce, there were no straws, so I called. The guy who handled my call did not care whatsoever and was annoyed I was calling. He hung up the phone on me. I proceeded to keep calling and they would pick up and hang up. I finally was able to speak to him and I said I can return all of the food and I want a full refund and he said “we don’t do full refunds” and hung up the phone. I will never order from this location again and probably won’t be giving Jimmy John’s anymore money after this. I used to serve and manage restaurants and I know how busy rushes can be, and how annoying picky people are. I still never treated any customer the way this person treated me. I called corporate customer service and he was very pleasant, but this specific location has a lot of immature staff and I don’t expect them to get better...

Google needs to implement a 0 stars rule because that’s what my experience deserves. I was just their 39 minutes ago and their was supposed to be a different guy taking my order but this dude employee took my order instead. Not only was he pressuring me to size up my sandwich when I politely asked for a six inch, but when I ordered another sandwich he put it in as 12 inch instead of asking me what size I wanted. Than he rudely left to make my sandwich and didn’t give me a recipe. The whole time he interacted with me he used a unpleasant tone and looked annoyed to even be taking my order. Overall I feel bad for leaving this review because I am NEVER the type to be hating on people and usually am quiet if someone’s rude to me but this guy really set...

Ordered a vegetarian, which is what I always get. Does this amount of cheese look normal? Also, where's the avocado? I was mad when I got home, so I called. Manager stated it was my fault "because you watched them make it" and "i didn't read the menu about the extra cheese." Thanks, but I know the JJ menu, and I've never had to disassemble the sandwich throw away half the cheese. I guess it is my bad for not counting the cheese slices as it was being made. I'll never go back to this location.
