McDonald's — Restaurant in Hinsdale

Slow service at 1:45 pm Sunday.

The mgr serving us tossed our order together like tossing out trash. Then screamed our order number as if she was calling plays on the finale drive of the superbowl while we were less then 4 feet behind here.

Sure, i know people walk away and they are trying to get the order delivered but this was clearly not the case here.

Then she tossed our food tray like it was just out of the oven and she had no mits. Fries went over the sides of the tray even. Thanks for that as if my large order was not small enough or close to being a large order to begin with.

Then she forgot to give us our cups as did she the other couple in front of us, again.

We stood there patiently trying to get her attention for what seemed like minutes to ask for our 2 cups and ice coffee she also forgot.

She was not helpfull and seemed to be one of the most unpleasant employee to customers and staff alike. Bringing down everyone including us.

I ordered two cb meal. The fries were stale and cold. Buns were so dry they were cracked on top, burger meat looked like it was days old. Dried up, over cooked and very tiny. Not even close to being the size of the buns. I tossed the buns and attemted to eat just the burgers. Thinking i will spend my carb intake elsewhere. To my surprise. ... no cheese on my cheese burgers.

However, i got my moneys worth..... i got 3 servings of Ketchup per burger ;). was about 2+ table spoons worth per bun. Looked as if it used to rehydrate the dried out meat or hide it from plain site.

Ordered ice carmal coffee. It was warm and only two slivers of ice remained.

My better half ordered nuggets and fries. Just as bad. Nuggets were dried out and hard, stale and almost meatless from over frying them and sitting on standby.

Tables were dirty, soda mahine was out of diet coke, fruit flies were all over the soda aera. Had to swat them away from my face and my so called freshly made meals.

Seemed as if we and everyone else i witnessed were being treated like unwanted guests.

I have been eatting at Mc Donalds for 30 years. Watching it slowly decline in my eyes every visit and other location throughout the US and even outside the US.

Overall I think they have lost touch with the quality of food prep, quality in general, portions, sanitation and employees training as is with many other places.

I will spend my money and time elsewhere. One of my most unplesant visit at any fast food to date.

Sure this location does not represent all but neverless represents a decline and my bad review.

Oh wait... it has nice architecture layout for Mc Donalds. Sarcastic of course!!

Honestly... i would rather eat on a park bench outside if the food and service was good...

Unfortunately, I ended up burning my foot from a Hot Cup of Coffee due to unhealthful service. I walked in for a cup of black coffee which I inadvertently did not order iced which was my intention. This a common practice at my local McD's almost daily. I asked for a cup of ice because I explained I wanted an iced coffee. Lety the service requested 50 cents which I walked out to my car to get. Upon my return I provided the 50 cents and in an unprofessional demeanor she handed me a cup with no ice, as I told her I needed ice, I grabbed for my cup of hot coffee which collapsed in my hand and fell. The hot coffee spilt on my clothes and onto my gym shoe/sock which I immediately had to remove because of the heat. Needless to say now that an hour has passed my foot is irritated and burned. My point is that a little courtesy and better customer service could have avoided my pain. In the past whenever this has occurred at other McDonald's they happily adjust my order and are helpful. It is disappointing that I had to write this but perhaps this will help future...

This used to be the best McDonalds in the area, now it’s the worst. The night crew doesn’t care about your order or helping you. The food is always sloppy, cold, and often the wrong item. The staff is rude and patronizing when told they did something wrong, which is everything. The lobby is always dirty I have to search and hope for a clean table or ask someone to clean one. They close the lobby early and open late in the morning consistently I never know if I will be able to eat inside, despite them having set hours. They never help when there is an app issue, and at every other location the employees try to help at least, but here they just say “no”. The crew is always laughing and joking around instead of doing their jobs and it’s just infuriating that they get paid to take care of us customers, yet they do no such thing. I recommend that nobody goes here for any reason and the staff should mostly if not all be completely replaced. Extremely disappointing and it’s every single time I go there...
