We decided to stop for the first time here and have lunch here today, and we are glad that we did. I had the carnitas taco dinner with rice and beans; my wife had a chicken torta and rice. We both had Tamarindo Jarrito to drink. Everything was delicious. Our server "Tanya" was very attentive, prompt, and friendly. I've watched Carniceria y Fruteria La Morenita get built as I drove past over the last 2 years and always said I'll stop. Well, today was the day and I'm glad I made that decison. I was surprised that they were open on New Years Day. We got 3 flour and 1 corn pollo taco and my taste buds flew through the roof! Not only were the flavorful, they were loaded with love.
