Taqueria la morenita — Restaurant in Hobart Township

Food is made fresh. I love the breaded chicken in the tora's. Place is pretty clean, and staff is friendly. Fresh produce and regular grocery store food. My friend and I both like the food. Been going their about 6 months on and of when I get in the area.

We did eat in the back dinning area once (it only opens certain days and hours) but it was very cold. I even was dressed with layers to be outside at the junk yard down the street as that is were I came from. At least their I am moving to stay warm. Me and my friend were both very cold.

I asked the waitress to fix it and nothing happened. I spoke with the older guy (think he runs it) their about just buying a plug in the wall space heater ( like $20ish) to get the chill out and no response. It had to be been about 60 degree's. Now on I just eat at the little counter up front.

Beware of Google "local guides". Most post vague reviews just to score points with Google from places they never visited. Anyone can...

I wish there was a way to rate this place lower than 1 star, which the place doesn't deserve. I don't understand how this place received good reviews. I ordered 4 chicken tacos with everything on corn tortillas. The male 'cook's dipped all of the tortillas in oil and placed them on a cold grill. The chicken was flavorless and awful! I was charged for extra cheese which consisted of three crumbs of cheese. The tortillas were uncooked, oily and hard.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! No, I NEVER will return or spend a cent here! Absolutely...

Literally the best tacos in town but this will be my last time ordering from them they literally say F your special requests and put whatever they feel like it on your food. And will lie about charging for certain items that you didn’t receive when in fact they did charge for those items because they told me a total over the phone before I realized the cheese was missing on my tacos, they repeated the order back to me so I know in fact I was charged.
