El Caballero Restaurant — Restaurant in Hobbs

iv ordered here before, I always get a chorizo burrito and a drink which comes out to $8 and sum change every time. iv never had a problem here before but today I walk in and go to register to pay and the lady rings it up on the cash register. I was wearing sunglasses so I guess she didn't see me look at the price on the register but the total was $8.42 (Which is normal for what I usually get) but when she verbally told me the price she said $10.42. I noticed right away but I handed her the $20 dollar bill I had and she counted the change back quickly. Idk why she did that...either thinking i wasn't going to tip ( which i did knowing that she charged me $2 extra) or she didn't think i would notice...maybe because I was white...idk but all in all that was not cool. One of my favorite places to eat here in Artesia. Owners are truly amazing and the food is soo good so if you're looking into eating Mexican food you can't go wrong with this place. They've done so many upgrades to their facility and it's beautiful inside. Oh and they serve beer 🍺 in but I'm not exactly sure what all in that category they sell (alcohol) but if your not a big drinker they do have Mexican cokes, horchata etc.. 😁 The waitresses are all amazing as well. First off food was good.service was good...but during this pandemic they are not very sanitary..we sat by a bag of tp. Staff cooking and waitresses not using masks or gloves...I observed alot of violations as to using a cup to put in a bucket that was used for lemonade and dropped back in bucket no gloves , a gallon of milk open sitting for an hour while I was there...a customer go in the kitchen no mask to where the cooking was at ....there were so many issues the menus were dirty not wiped down had food stuck to them ...much more.i plan on calling the health inspector and cdc for...
