Holland Cakery 'n' Sweets — Restaurant in Holland Charter Township

Oh, what a blessing are Katy and the Holland Cakery! I traveled from Texas last week to give a lavish 30th anniversary celebration for my brother and sis-in-law who reside in Holland. This event was of disproportionate importance to our family as my brother is terminally ill and is unlikely to see another anniversary. As I arrived only a day prior to the event, I did the vast majority of my buying/ordering far in advance online. I saw the Cakery's website and their gorgeous creations. I'm a well-seasoned traveler who is not easily impressed, but their cakes are nothing less than magnificent. Via email only, I sent my specific instructions for the three cakes that I wanted to Katy. The price she quoted back was shocking! About $50 each cake, with each feeding a small multitude. I ordered the three and, even though their cake photos were lovely and Katy was responsive and seemed competent, it was not until the day of the celebration that we saw the actual cakes. Oh, my! Beyond gorgeous! Beyond magnificent! My less-than costly cakes were the hit - and I mean hit - of the entire affair! Thank you, Katy! Thank you, Holland Cakery! ...

I got a cake for my husband and i wanted it to be special so i chose Holland Cakery. while we were very satisfied with how the cake looked, I was very disappointed to find a rubber piece of something in the middle of the cake which my mother in law brother in law and sister in law all got a piece of. When I called to tell them what had happened they took my name and number and said they would have the owner of the shop call me, which they never did. I feel it is completely unprofessional to not take care of such a very large issue. if they had actually eaten this rubber substance they could have gotten very sick! as this was my first time ordering from Holland Cakery I will never ever order from them again and I have nothing good to say because they did not take care of the issue and I will not suggest anyone to go there. next time I will just go to Meijer instead of going to a small business like this. Which apparently is what I should have done in the first place so...

I had the pleasure of working with Holland Cakery and Sweets for my wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the result.
