I truly want to support this local business, and I appreciate the friendly staff and their dedication to the community. However, I’ve found myself consistently underwhelmed by the pizza here. Every six months or so, I give it another try, hoping for a different experience—but I'm always reminded of how unremarkable it is.
I recently spent $50 on two pizzas—one deep dish and one traditional—and unfortunately, both were disappointing. The crust was undercooked and overly doughy, the flavors were flat, and there’s a noticeable lack of originality in the recipes. For a restaurant of this nature, I expect something that feels more authentic, more thoughtfully crafted.
By contrast, when I order from Domino’s, I end up eating more than I should simply because it tastes good. And when I make the 15-minute drive to Genovese’s in Ormond, I’m rewarded with what I consider the best pizza in town—authentic Italian flavor that feels worth every penny.
One thing that also makes it tough to be a regular customer is the limited availability. They close early on Fridays and aren’t open at all on Saturdays or Sundays, which are prime times for family pizza nights.
I say all this not out of malice, but out of hope that feedback might inspire improvement. The people and the potential are there; the flavor just needs to rise...

Read moreI was very disappointed. The first time I ordered the meatball calzone 3 days prior it was an actual meatball. The second time It was ground beef. I called and asked the lady about it and she said "we always use ground beef as our meatballs" .....no. 2 days ago I had it and it was a meatball an actual meatball. Not to mention they use canned mushrooms. That's really disgusting who uses canned mushrooms in an Italian restaurant? So I called back to the restaurant and told them that I had to put my pizza back in the oven and my calzone still wasn't cooked on the inside pure dough and it did not have any meatballs and the girl had a cocky attitude and completely lied to me. Sometimes you order food and you don't get upset because the staff is so nice. Well this is not the case. Oh, never order from here again and do yourself a favor. Call...
