Fusion Blue Bistro | Restaurant, Catering, Special Events, Food Truck — Restaurant in Holly Ridge

We are vacationers from northeast Ohio where the food scene is incredible. We called this restaurant to see if they could accommodate a vegan in our group and chef Chris answered the phone and said it would be no problem. We headed over for dinner and were a little nervous at first as the restaurant is within another building and we were the only ones there. It turned out to be one of the best meals any of us have had in a long time. Chef Chris told us what could be modified to be vegan. Between the four of us we had the Brussels sprouts and street corn appetizer, French onion soup, the chefs special burger, chicken caprese sandwich, Jamaican chicken thighs, and he specially made a vegan stir fry. We also had the plantain dessert and flourless chocolate cake. Every single thing we got was incredible. My vegan husband usually has a hard time finding delicious and filling vegan meals when we travel to really touristy spots, but he hasn’t stopped raving about his meal. Fusion Blue Zones is the perfect choice to cater any event! They recently catered our daughter's wedding and it was amazing. Our guest were blown away by the passed appetizers during cocktail hour and the beautiful & delicious plated dinner. Chris, Laura and their team of professional servers made this special event even better. There were 95 guest and everything with Fusion Blue Zones was seamless. Prior to the event, Chris and Laura did a personal tasting with our family and helped us chose the perfect menu for our guests and budget. They are extremely professional, easy to work with and so kind. They went above and beyond and even helped navigate some difficult concerns with the venue. Wow! We were recently hit by a severe hail storm which caused significant damage to our house and surrounding neighborhood. Local contractors I believed hired this company to cater to the entire neighborhood on them! We were expecting mediocre food truck since it was free; I was corrected and it was beyond our expectations. My wife ordered the Chicken and rice were on point not dry well seasoned, my kids ordered a burger it was thick and juicy, and I ordered a hog dog which was also great! They served a good portion which I couldn’t even finish, they were not stingy on portions. The caters little boy told us they own a restaurant in which I would love to try out because their menu looked great!
