I don't actually review places ever, but man, I LOVE a good bagel. I mean I really do love a good bagel, and this sure is this the spot for it. I found Ike's on a trip back from Orlando passing through Boyton. It was about midday after leaving early morning and my children started bickering about breakfast/lunch. After telling them we wouldn't eat until at least Boyton, my wife started looking up places to eat brunch and found Ike's. When we arrived were confused to arrive at a super market, however after asking a staff member in a KC Market shirt, we were informed it was inside the store. I had a toasted cream cheese and lox (the base of comparison for any and all bagel) and my wife and kids got the sweeter choices, French toast which they loved. Anyways, we LOVED it collectively and started to see it were a chain. Turns out... IT IS. Well sort of. For the time being it seems to be a place who's expansion/franchising is contingent on the expansion of the KC Market locations, which fortunately are expanding at an increasing pace. With all this, the Hollywood location I have been using as my main source of breakfast has not let me down ONCE. Highly, HIGHLY recommend for all breakfast lovers. Atmosphere only gets a 4 ⭐ because I'm dying for a stand alone!!! Best of luck to Ike's Bagels. I hope to see many more stand alone...

When we walked up there was no one behind the counter. A guy was on his cell phone in front of the bagel case so I thought he was a customer since he never greeted us or asked us to wait a minute. A woman came back there and never spoke to us either and just kept going about her business.
It was just before 10am, so I know we missed any morning rush. Eventually the guy on the cell phone went behind the counter and put on a glove (I guess to assist us). He continued to talk on his phone and began touching his face and nose with the glove he just put on.
Since we'd waited already several minutes without any acknowledgement, plus seeing the glove to face behavior, we decided to leave and went to a different...
Read moreJust another spot. Not sure why requesting utensils seems to be an obligation around here but many places seem to miss it. We requested utensils here specifically even though you would think takeout gives it you by default. Thanks for forcing me to eat with my hands! Oh and some extra sauce, yeah can forget about that as well. Seriously, just look at the order details! Too much energy expended to see what the customer requested? Is the customer who comes first or how many tickets can be pushed...
