Don’t trust the reviews - they offer you free dessert if you leave a good review! We had a comedy of horrors at this place and it is possibly one of the most unprofessional restaurants I have been to. We showed up on a Thursday night to this terrible and incredibly loud music. Fine. We got seated in the back so it wouldn’t be too loud. We ask for regular water, but apparently the water is “dirty” according to the waitress so we have to order bottled water. After we order, the waitress comes and tells us they need the table and we have to move. After questioning why, apparently it’s the “bosses” table and the boss was there and wanted it. Tells you a lot about the owners of this place. We move tables but it is so loud where they seated us and we can’t hear each other talk so we go to the table outside. We order our food, everything is very slow. It finally comes and the chicken we ordered was raw! Our drinks were also 100% watered down. We get new chicken and as we are eating, the waitress comes outside and is literally smoking cigarettes in our face. People at the table right next to us also smoking cigarettes. At the end, we ask for the chicken to be removed from the bill because of everything we experienced and the manager is fighting with us that the chicken wasn’t really raw! We show him a piece and he’s waving it around claiming it’s not raw like a child. The most disgusting, unprofessional and classless staff. We will never be back! Avoid at all costs!!
This is in response to your reply. A simple apology would have been sufficient. But instead you chose to make up compete and utter lies. We were seated at the table by the waitress - we did not just go and sit down. That is ridiculous to even say. We were specifically told the water was “dirty” and that we had to move tables because it was the “bosses” table - not because someone else reserved the table (in which case we shouldn’t have been seated there). In fact, the waitress told us that she would not have made us move had it not been for it being the “bosses” table. And we certainly did not get any free dessert. In fact, after the manager started waiving around the piece of raw chicken while the waitress was smoking literally in our faces at the table, we declined the dessert because we did not intend to leave a good review after what we had been through. I almost never write reviews and don’t think i have ever written a bad review about a restaurant ever. It was just such an unbelievable experience with the lack of professionalism and the receipt of raw chicken. Spreading lies about others won’t save...
Read moreI am laughing at most of the reviews I am reading here. How did this place get a 4:8? The reviews I have read about this restaurant seem (TOTALLY) bogus. They probably paid a company to give positive reviews. I chose the restaurant because the pictures make it look lovely. It was one of those cases where the pictures were better than the actual establishment. The restaurant is not bad; it's a redecorated warehouse. My girlfriend had a burger. I had a steak burrito. She had a drink, and I had one and an appetizer (fries with brisket on top of the fries). The appetizer was good. The burrito and burger were just ok. The price is way over the top for a restaurant of that caliber. I am not joking when I say this is a restaurant on the level of Flannigan, but Flannigan's food is better. Then I got hit with the bill (haha haha haha). Of course, the tip was included. Ok, what did I get for the price? A burger for my girlfriend. I had a steak Burrito. We had a drink each and, of course, the fries and brisket appetizer. The total price was $178, and no receipt was offered. Plus, the service was slow. I am far from a cheap individual, but I will NEVER go to this place again. If you decide that this is a place that you want to visit, be prepared to get hit with a hefty bill, and the tip is also included. The waitress read the bill and showed me what I was paying for. Everything is on an iPad. She did not even give me time to look at the bill. I only have myself to blame for that. I should have insisted she slowed down and let me look at the bill before signing. My girlfriend wanted to leave that place quickly; I felt her vibe. I signed the bill and left. This place is a joke. This is a total waste of time. Wow, in all my years of eating at restaurants every week. This is the second review I have ever left an establishment. The food is not bad, just average, but the place is way overpriced. This is a casual restaurant average at best. The price does not match the...
Read moreFood was A+ and server was amazing food came quickly. That is 5 stars.
But atmosphere is 1 star. Here is why.
The main attraction for us was the live music.
We arrived at 6:30 and saw the stage empty. When I asked I was told the live music only starts at 7, ok... so we sit down to order.
In the meantime there was very offensive music playing - not just non Jewish instrumental music that would have not been an issue but they had woman singing non Jewish songs to the point that my family was very uncomfortable.
I approach the mashgiach and he says "it's from a juke box and he can't control it, but when the live music arrives they turn it off. In the meantime if I want to download the app and pay the jukebox I can select what songs I want to play and there is a big selection of Jewish music."
I thought that was a little crazy that I need to pay for the music in the restaurant but what don't we do for the chinuch of our children.
So I attempted to do this (it was like $5 for 10 songs or $10 for 28 songs) only to discover that there were no Jewish artists at all.
Disappointed and at a loss of what to do we figured that the live music will be here soon enough at 7pm.
Long story short the live music didn't show up until around 7:30 (so we were uncomfortable for an hour) and although there are drums etc on the stage only a guy with a saxophone came and he played along to classical music.
Honestly we were expecting a band based on images of the stage we saw online and by what was set up when we arrived but that was the least of my concern we were just happy the offensive music was finally turned off...
Being that this is a kosher establishment I would expect you to be more sensitive to your customers.
Unfortunately until I know this is corrected I will not be...
