Tavern in the Glen — Restaurant in Homer Glen

Tavern in the Glen is a great Irish tavern with a wonderful staff. The staff is so friendly. The food is delicious, I had the grilled steak wrap. It was enough to share. The chicken tenders are the flat chicken tenderloins that I love. The beer and drinks selection had something for everyone. One of the owners, Kevin, was there and he knew all his regulars. They have gambling machines if you're into that. The outside patio has a shuffle board game for a table, really cool. There's plenty of room inside and out. The restrooms were clean. Best bar in the area. Great food/drinks, great music and the staff is always taking care of us when we go.

The Beef Sandwhich is my favorite. Not fair to call it just a beef sandwhich bc it is more like a French dip from a fancy restaurant. Much more than just a beef sandwhich from a hot dog stand. Don’t forget the mozzarella and hot peppers.

Fried cheese curds and pretzel bites are awesome too. Burgers are always cooked the way I like them and don’t get me started about the sliders. So good.
