I’ve lived on Oahu for over two years, and I was steady in income the whole time. However, the last month before I’ve left island has been rough, and I’m living out of my car. I’ve never been to a food bank before, and was very nervous walking in. My Hawai’i ID is expired and I had to use my FL state one, they took it no questions asked! Should have posted online that they not passing out food due to construction. It's not like I can just go all over the place. I took a specific amount of time too go there. Now kids with out food. Gotta look for other convenient places. Not rating anything right now. How about being a single parent of 2 kids and every one telling you that you make to much money to qualify for help....
