⨠Great food. Great people. A roadside stop youāll actually want to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have visited numerous roadside stops, often referred to as exit stops, where I typically pause to refuel, use the restroom, refresh, purchase lottery tickets, and enjoy some food or souvenirs. This particular chain stands out to me for its welcoming, country-inspired atmosphere. Unfortunately, I recently had an unfortunate experience with their drive-through service; hot coffee spilled on me, and I felt there was a lack of concern regarding my discomfort. So beware of the coffee cup lids.
Despite this incident, I generally find their food quite enjoyable, especially when Iām in need of something quick, like a hot dog or a sandwich. I particularly recommend their ham and cheese croissants, which are quite delicious. However, I do find their coffee tends to be a bit diluted, so I suggest stepping into the country store for a beverage.
If you're not in the mood for hot food, the country store offers a delightful selection of sandwiches, chips, and various snacks. Additionally, for those traveling from out of state, they provide plenty of souvenirs and lottery tickets. Overall, itās a pleasant stop, and I appreciate that the bathrooms are consistently clean. As someone with a handicap, I also find the spacious layout accommodating, making it easy for me...

Let's just say opening the oven by pulling the end of the tongues with no gloves, while they are attached to the oven is lazy.. Then to grab someone's ham and cheese sandwhich with said tongues you just touched is extra disgusting. Also if you need to grab a pastry, pull out the tray. Like seriously you resting your elbow on other people's future pastry is not cool, it's icky as all hell. Then when you realize your all sticky and start rubbing off sugar and then take more orders and then go make more food. All without washing your hands.. I wanted food but you just kept giving me excuses not to order food.
-Prior to the below you would have gotten 3 stars.-
Then there was the lady, who's baby pulled the coffee from her hands, spilling coffee everywhere, the counter, four feet of the floor, including the babies leg. The staff did nothing... The yelp from the lady, the screaming from the baby, and the lady asking for help from you. You guys did litterally nothing with other people seeing this clear as day. I had to grab paper napkins and then ask you to grab a mop.. Even when I left the counter was still a mess with coffee.. Like what's going on with...
