1st time I ate there was 2 weeks ago. Ordered the T-bone. It was tough with grissle in it. No problem didn’t ask to return it just chalked it up to a bad steak. We went back last night, we ordered the sirloin for 2 special. We know sirloin is a little tougher meat but still that’s what we ordered. While waiting, we had a shrimp cocktail which was delicious, our salad which was very good, then our steaks came. I ordered my steak medium. It came out bloody and slightly warm. When I tried to cut into it it was very tough and had gristle running through it. I ate a couple bites and had to spit them out because they were too tough to chew. Call the waitress over told her about my state she said they could re-heat the steak to cook it to the proper temperature. Did not give me the option to get a new steak. I tried my best to eat it but I couldn’t so my husband gave me part of his. When the bill came my husband asked what are they going to take anything off for the stake, The waitress got very loud and started arguing with us and said that they were not going to give us a free steak. My husband said I didn’t ask for a free steak I asked if you would take money off of the steaks and she couldn’t eat it. The waitress still continued to argue with us. We also got a couple of beers with our meal and my husband asked the waitress to put the alcohol on one ticket and the food on the other ticket and ring them up separately . I she brought the tickets out and was still very rude. This morning my husband looks in his checking account and not only did she separate the checks she rang us up three different times. She charged us for the meal, The alcohol, and then again for the two together. So I guess my husband he’s going to have to go talk to the owner as well as call the bank and cancel the meals that were paid for three times. I do not recommend this place to eat nor Will I...
Read moreWow this is an older establishment and in the past it has been excellent well-known for its stake and comfy friendly atmosphere.. I am sorry to say. The service leaves much to be desired. Granted our bill was not extravagant but $200 is a good sum of money.. no I am not going to leave a 20% tip for a waitress that let my class run dry for 20 minutes.. although I did leave her a tip.. it takes a lot for me not to leave anything.. my steak was supposed to be medium rare and it was well done I asked them if they could fix it and they did bring me a new steak.. once I finally found my waitress.. no seasoning on the steaks at all.. tough and chewy tasted like they had just ran the Kentucky Derby.. I will go back one more time in 30 days and see how it has changed if it is changed I will rewrite this review.. I hope no one takes offense to this I'm just speaking what your customers are thinking.. As I say with everything this is only one person giving a review.. and I do understand people can have bad nights.. that's why I will return for one last time to see if I just hit it on a bad night.. I hope the staff is more alert to their customers.. And please try to stop the foul language in front of my kids.. f-bombs feel like raindrops.. Probably not a place I would take my kids anymore.. more like a bar with...
Read moreVery pleasantly surprised, which doesn’t happen often these days. We decided to venture out of Clarksville and try a new place. This is a locally owned restaurant that has been in Hopkinsville for a number of years and despite how long I have lived in Clarksville I had never heard of it. Hands down this little local Steakhouse puts any place in Clarksville to shame! I hate saying that, as now I’m afraid everyone will flock to it and will be difficult to get in as it is a very small establishment, but we can not deny them where credit is due. This was a well earned review. The food and price are well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and had an amazing flavor leaving Nothing else needed. The baked potato was probably one of the best I’ve ever had, and the fried pickles, something unique, and not seen before, in how it was prepared; incredible flavor. Despite each table being full, Katie, our waitress, was not only upbeat and very pleasant, but extremely responsive, always ensuring we had exactly what we needed. We will definitely...
