Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Hopkinsville

Bottom line up front, the food is mediocre to terrible and the people currently working here are racist towards Caucasians. Passing through on a long drive, we decided to stop by for a chicken sandwich. When attempting to order at the drive through, the speaker was broken which probably led to some confusion about our order. Every other word read back to us came through. When we got to the window, we paid and received a receipt. I noticed they did not include both drinks we ordered. I let the cashier know and asked for another drink handing him my credit card to pay for it. He refused the card with a slight attitude in his voice. When the window shut, I noticed he talked to what I think was his manager when she (manager) mouthed the words, "They think they can get a free drink because they're white." He then handed us our drink. End story: fries were soggy; chicken was mediocre for Zaxby's in general. Service was timely. Unless these issues are fixed, I recommend choosing a different chicken sandwich place...

This place is a complete disaster. It’s being run by teenagers who clearly think this is social hour instead of a job. Where’s the manager—or does one even exist? I pulled up at 8:58 and didn’t get a response until 9:02 when Gakya finally decided to answer the mic. From the jump, she wasn’t paying attention—muting the mic, repeating the wrong order back, and generally acting clueless. It took three tries just to get the order right. At the window, they charged me for the wrong thing. When I asked to fix it (and even offered to pay the difference), the girl at the window asked her coworker, who then said out loud, “I’m just gonna tell them no.” Like, are you serious? We could hear you. Then they doubled down and refused to correct their mistake—as if I hadn’t already repeated the order three times. Bottom line: Gakya and whoever trained her need to be retrained—or better yet, replaced. This is fast food, not rocket science. I must say I had a good experience here today. My Misses,our youngest daughter,and I were doing some school shopping in the Evansville area and decided to stop in for lunch. Let me just say I don't eat chicken out anywhere that doesn't have it super spicy 🔥. Zaxby's insane boneless wings are great to fit my niche on that! My misses had the Cobb salad, which she deemed great by salad standards, and our youngest had the kids chicken fingers. She gave them two kid fingers up! ✌️ The service was with a smile and the food was hot and delicious 😋! I had a minor issue with my order of which was promptly corrected by the manager, who I might say has the most unique name I have ever heard.( And I'm ex Navy and been to 14 countries !)
