Ordered K ing size prime rib, delicious!! Made three other meals out of the bone and leftover meat. Well worth the price we paid. Thankyou Richie's, many long time memories here, from our Parents who always ate here as well as us. We don t live close by, we moved , but well worth the visit we made to remember and your Prime Rib still rocks!! Thankyou!! 👍

First time here but I was impressed. I sat on the side next to the bar that was no smoking. You could still smell the smoke because people were constantly traveling back and forth to serve tables or use the restroom. Prime rib was awesome. Fresh horseradish. Gravy on top is thick and starchy, not like au jus, but still yummy.

First time at Richie's Bar and Grill as I heard good things about their Prime Rib. Every thing said was spot on. The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection and they serve tasty sides too. Good drink selection and nice, friendly service.

Wish I could have given this place a better rating, especially since the service was so friendly, but just couldn't for the reasons to follow: Very smoky bar - figured it was an old building and maybe they just couldn't get the smoke out of all those years when there used to be smoking, but then I saw they had a "smoking area" in the front of the restaurant (outside), but they also had the windows open, meaning the cigarette smoke was coming inside the bar and restaurant. I ordered a $40 prime rib and my nostrils had to deal with cigarette smoke with every bite. The "queen cut" prime rib was actually $38.95, which was considerably more than you'd pay at the Longhorn Steakhouse, for example, and the cut I received was mediocre at best. I've had worse, but I have certainly had a lot better, and many of those were not in the $40 universe. The cut was fatty, about every other bite had some gristle to contend with - the flavor was OK, but you expect more than that for that price. The mashed potatoes were good, however the gravy (in my opinion) was horrible - maybe it's just my taste, but it tasted like store-bought gravy someone warmed up. Broccoli was tasty. I was trying out this place as I was told it had prime rib and there had been some good reviews - and I wanted a place to take my wife and family. There were some patrons drinking at the bar, with a healthy amount of f-words and s-words being bantered about, so I wouldn't consider this place too "family friendly".

So in short - friendly service, food that was "just OK" (so paying $38.95 for "just OK" sort of hurt), and you couldn't escape the cigarette smoke. Suggestion to owner - maybe move your smoking area somewhere else and not next to open windows to the restaurant.

I doubt their doorway won't be seeing me again, glad I found out on my own before being embarrassed in...

Just ate here for the first time and certainly not the last. I’ve driven by at least a hundred times and happened to notice the “Where Prime Rib Is King” sign yesterday. I came back today and was not let down. I ordered the princess cut of Prime Rib. The bartender/waitress Maria said it was 8-10oz but I’m pretty sure it was around a lb, probably more. The cost was $28 but worth it for the size of meat. They have a Queen size and King as well which is as high as $55 but I can only imagine how big that steak is. Maria asked me what 2 sides I wanted and I told her just steak was fine. She said she felt bad and asked if there was something else I wanted so I half jokingly said she could throw in some eggs. Lo and behold she brought me scrambled eggs which were delicious. So I now know where I’ll be grabbing breakfast next time I’m in the area. Great food, great service, would absolutely recommend.

ps, I noticed a bunch of recent 1 star reviews after I posted my review. This is a bar owned by a marine. Their sign says “All lives matter” on it. The waitress Maria mentioned it wasn’t meant to be controversial but it looks like a bunch of leftists have ganged up to bring their score down by leaving a bunch of 1 star reviews without any analysis of the...

I'm changing my review as I was introduced to this quaint little place by my girlfriend 6 months ago and proceeded to give Richies a 5 star review , however last night on 10/12/2024 we walked into another Kareoke night and while that's not a problem this time the Music was extremely TOO LOUD and we couldn't hear each other from across a booth . I assume the Bar owner was the one behind the bar engaged in conversation with the Bartender which either had NO CLUE that we had walked in and sat down at the first booth just inside the front door . Sat there for 15 minutes , never receiving eye contact or anything as they of course were too preoccupied with whatever they were doing . A potential fight was about to happen between a Local Regular who was obviously completely Blitzed and a group of young 21 year old somethings that had Beer Muscles . It was almost a reenactment of Road House in there before we left . Short Staffed and unaware of things going on this is a place I most likely will never come...
