Louie's Place — Restaurant in Hot Springs

Ok, I don’t give reviews much but felt compelled to say a few words about Louie’s Place in Hot Springs, Montana. Started off with an Octoberfest German imported draft beer which was superb and continued with a sauerkraut smoked sausage sandwich. That might sound mundane, but it wasn’t. It was really tasty and the sides of German mashed potatoes with a spicy queso dip were a nice touch. Hot Springs isn’t for everybody. It’s quaint, maybe a little retro, so if you’re looking for a ritzy tourist resort you won’t find it here. What you will find is a town with a midsummer Pioneer rendezvous and rodeo as well as great mineral water at the Symes Hot Springs Resort nearby. Louie’s adds a lot to the ambiance. A hidden gem in rural Montana! If you ever find yourself near this little corner of town, do yourself a favor and stop in at Louie’s Place. This spot is the definition of small-town charm mixed with seriously good American comfort food. I ordered the brisket cheesesteak, and I’m still thinking about it. I'm a local in Hot Springs and Louie's is my go-to restaurant! Louie's is a family-run restaurant and has amazing food! The food is consistently good. Louie's can get busy and the wait staff can have their hands pretty full, at times. I know the staff and the owners and they are all upbeat and want satisfied customers.
