Banyan Foods — Restaurant in Houston

5 STARS!!! This company and their products are the best. I am vegan and very picky about things I eat but I love all their products. I regularly eat the Tamales (Hot green tofu and the Red tamales), Tofu Egg Rolls (curry flavor is my favorite), and Kimchi Salsa. They are healthy, vegan, great tasting, and fulfilling.

I have been requesting HEB and Whole Foods to carry more of their products and if you like their products then you should request from the customer service at your grocery stores too! Take a pic of the label and upc code and request it.

I am a forever fan and even plan to get their products shipped straight to me from the company when I move out of TX.

Seriously - try some of their authentic, local made products and you might fall...

Edit: it most definitely came from the kimchi because it was neatly tucked into a piece of cabbage when I picked it up with my spoon it fell out! Take responsibility for not thoroughly checking your product. Such a despicable company. When I called the “owner” answered and laughed about my experience and started rambling off about something completely off topic.

This place is disgusting for not checking their product! I bought two jars of kimchi from HEB and as I was eating it I found a worm in my kimchi!!!! This is so disgusting and this place needs to be thoroughly checked! Never buying from them again and hopefully everyone will see this and not buy it either. I’m posting this...

Bought a package of your wonton wrappers from my local HEB store in Huntsville. Got major food poisoning from them. I threw up multiple times just hours after eating several and had bad abdominal pain. They were not even expired at two weeks still from the expiration date.

EDIT: After not getting any better after a week, I went to the doctor and they confirmed the bad food gave me a bacterial infection. And Banyan Foods never responded when I emailed them about the illness from their product. Banyan Foods is apparently not going to take responsibility for the bad food... and it doesn't look like the HEB is going to either. Way to stand behind your...
