OK, first of all I went in there with good faith because I’m a very big fan of Biryani and there’s a really big sign right outside the store name on top it says daily special $7 dollar biryani Kema Karahi korma.
I went in. I looked at a sign on the desk that said the same thing but a little different it said $6.99 and it listed the same items. On the first table as soon as you enter, it says the same thing seven dollars for all these listed items every day. It’s a daily special day have. Mind you I was not that hungry, but my wife was at the nail salon right next-door so I decided to go in and have some biryani. First of all the Uncle that’s working behind. The counter is chewing tobacco. Gutka. And when he talks, he’s spitting. Never mind that I kept my distance and that should’ve been my first sign that I should not have been here… I told the Uncle I need one biryani and he asked me whether it was to go or dine in and I said I’ll sit here and eat. There was only two other people in the restaurant.
When my biryani came, it was a pretty good quantity. And for the price, I was pretty satisfied. And I told the uncle can I please have more onions because he only gave me a little bit. The Uncle gave me a little weird look. And I swear to you.
*I swear to god, he comes back with handful of onions, literally no gloves, bare hands, a big pinch of onions. He dropped it on my plate of salad like seriously that was so weird and unhygienic and extremely unsanitary because I’m sure he had GUTKA on his hand. Anyways, I didn’t eat any onions, but I did eat the biryani and it tasted so-so. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t that good either.
I finish my food and I go back to the counter to pay and they charge me like $11 So I ask them how is it $11 and the girl that charged me told me it’s $8.99 and I was shocked! I told him how is it 899 when you have five different signs that say 799 so the girl told me dine in price is different. So I told her that I’m not gonna pay her $11 so she went and got the Uncle from the inside and the Uncle being extremely rude. Told me dine in price is different. And I’m like uncle what do you mean dine in price is different. if it’s different then you’re supposed to inform your customer that is expecting to pay seven dollars and now you’re charging $11 you guys are doing fraud!!! I got mad and uncle insisted that I need to pay the price that I am being charged because that is the price! We had a small argument and Uncle was like it’s OK you can go for free. I don’t wanna charge people like you. And I’m like no charge what you told me you’re going to charge me don’t charge me extra unnecessarily you guys are the ones doing fraud and you’re putting it on me like it’s my fault if the prices are different than you’re supposed to mention it ! uncle started screaming at me that for seven dollars that’s how much onions you ate and so much biryani you ate you have to pay that price. I told him to charge me the price that you are telling me seven dollars and that is all I’m paying you because that’s what I eat so finally he charged me that price and told me to go. Like I’m ever coming back!

My recent visit to Diwan Restaurant was an absolute culinary delight, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I stepped inside, the inviting aromas of authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine enveloped me, setting the stage for a truly memorable meal. The atmosphere was incredibly clean and comfortable, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy.
I had heard wonderful things about their biryani, and it surpassed all expectations. Each grain of rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and infused with a rich, aromatic blend of spices that hit all the right notes. The tender chicken in my biryani was incredibly juicy and flavorful, clearly marinated and cooked to perfection. What truly stood out was the incredible depth of flavor in every bite, from the caramelized onions to the subtle saffron notes. It wasn't too oily, and the spice level was just right, enhancing rather than overpowering the natural flavors.
Beyond the biryani, the menu offers a fantastic variety. I also tried the smoky dhuan ghost, which was perfectly charred and incredibly flavorful. The portions are generous, offering great value. The service was genuinely friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming experience. Plus, the added bonus of a pool table makes it a unique spot to enjoy with friends. Diwan Restaurant is a true gem, and I highly recommend it for anyone craving authentic, delicious Pak-Indo cuisine in a...
Read moreI recently dined at The Olive Garden Bistro, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cozy lighting and tasteful decor that set the perfect mood.
The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our server, Sarah, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations without being pushy.
We started with the garlic breadsticks and house salad—fresh, flavorful, and served promptly. For the main course, I had the creamy shrimp Alfredo, and my friend ordered the chicken marsala. Both dishes were perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and served hot. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful.
Dessert was a highlight—don't miss the tiramisu! It was rich, soft, and not overly sweet.
The pricing was reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and everything was clean and well-maintained.
