Canal St. Daiquiris — Restaurant in Houston

Worst daiquiris in Houston. My friends and I thought we’d found The best daiquiri bar in the city. Boy, were we wrong!!

These daiquiris have a good flavor. But don’t be fooled by that. They have very, very low alcohol content. And they made my friends and I both extremely sick the next day. We all had headache, dizziness, and stomach ache… The same symptoms associated with hangovers. Oddly enough, there was not enough alcohol in the drink to even get you to a state where you were really buzzed but the after effects of the daiquiris will make you terribly sick. They are loaded with sugar and barely any alcohol.

I’m not sure what ingredients are in these daiquiris, but we were really sick the day after consuming these daiquiris. We literally felt bad the entire day after. Just find another spot. This one isn’t worth being sick...

Being from New Orleans I felt compelled to give this restaurant a try. The food was great. I had no complaints on that; however I ordered a combo for $16.99 which displayed as a meal and a daiquiri. Once I paid I was told the other guy on the first register will provide the drink. I make my selection and he says I owe him seven dollars and some change. I question it and they explain that if I buy the combo that would reduce the price of the daiquiri by a dollar. So why is it a combo if there is no drink with it? I gave them 2 stars because they are certainly trying to rip people off. I asked who owned the place and they acted clueless. Omg the food is amazing the shrimps are crispy the potato salad was creamy the wings were seasoned and everything was fresh and crispy…. Now the drinks I got a peach and hurricane mixed daiquiri then I tried the special daiquiri and that taste is soooo good and memorable that’s definitely the next drink to get you can taste the alcohol. The staff was very nice they all spoke the establishment smelled like food every thing was clean and neat. I’ll definitely be going...
