Frenchey's Chicken — Restaurant in Houston

On 11/4/2022 I ordered a 100 pieces of chicken for 11/6/2022 for 1:30pm. When my son went to pick up the order the chicken hadn’t even been cooked. The crew on duty did not make the order. The manager on duty was so nonchalant and unconcerned. She informed me that it would be at least 2 hrs to make the chicken and it was 1:45pm. She was rude and very unprofessional but that’s to be expected doing business with black people.She stated that I should have came and paid for my chicken first but I asked if I needed to and was told no. But even if I would have came and paid for the chicken it still wouldn’t have been ready because she stated that no one told her about my order. That’s totally unaccepted. So on 11/12/2022 I spoke with the manager that took my initial order and she apologized. She also let me talk to the owners son Troy Riddeaux and that was like talking to a box of rocks. I’m very disappointed with the disregard that was shown to me as a customer. Then people wander why we don’t patronize black businesses because they don’t care if they drop the ball. But just so no one else have to experience the same treatment just go somewhere else because you can’t do a do over when you have 60+ people waiting on dinner and you don’t have any meat available. I will never do business with this establishment ever again. They didn’t even offer to do anything for the inconvenience that they created for my family but what else should I expect that’s why it’s hard to patronize black owned businesses. If it was a white establishment they would have done everything that they could to make it right. I wasn’t asking for them to give me anything but I was expecting to pay for what I ordered and not a piece of chicken. Just go somewhere else because they don’t care. Troy Riddeaux is definitely a joke he didn’t say anything but let me talk back to the manager. They can have they chicken because I won’t spend another dime there and I’m going to tell my family and friends to go somewhere else because they customer service...

I was treated to lunch today from one of my co-worker ( because it is Wraparound Specialist Week in my school district) and I chose Frenchy's because I love the food there. Unfortunately the service was very unprofessional and the cashier was very disrespectful ( the one with the two air puffs). When it was time to place my order, I informed the cashier I was ordering two different orders, paying one with cash and the other apple pay. I placed my first order and paid with cash. She left to make the first order and told me she is waiting on the rice to get done, I told her ok. Then she proceeded to take someone else order instead and getting my second order. After which she asked me if I needed something and I told her I needed to placed my second order and she told me I would have to go to the end of the line to place my second order. This was totally absurd and took me and the other customers by surprised. I told her I was not going to the back of the line to make my second order. She totally ignored me and took other people's orders. I demanded my refund because this was ridicule and unprofessional. The manager talked with the young lady and told her what she did was not right. The manager was very polite and refunded me my money and gave me the chicken with not cost. I have been going to this Frenchy's for years and can truly say this was the first time I have experience such poor service. I have seen so many videos of workers disrespecting customers and the lack of professionalism that it makes me sick. This type of bad service will cost business to lose longtime customers. I gave the food to others who were in need and took my business elsewhere. Don't let an unprofessional person ruin...

I always go through the drive-thru at this location. I normally eat the wing special for $10 at this location however, I wanted to try something different. They have a $5 meal in which it comes with one side two pieces of chicken which is normally dark meat and a drink for $5. I ordered that and the chicken was extremely delicious, full of flavor, and very crispy. The fries we're extremely tasty and well-seasoned. The drink is always good too. You can even get Kool-Aid at this facility. The parking is small however, you do better just going through the drive-thru and ordering your food.

Update: the chicken is still the same from when I can remember from the last time I went. I this time ordered the three piece mini campus which consists of three pieces of chicken one side and your choice of bread for $7.89. I added a drink for $2.00 more. I also noticed that they may be charging a packaging fee for your meal while you are ordering through takeout. I used cash when I went to this location on yesterday however if you are using a card, don't be surprised if they will be a slight of charge to utilize your card for...
