5th Level — Restaurant in Houston

I gave 4 stars because my experience was dramatically turned around. I came here after a funeral, and wanted to just relax and ease my mind. I sat at the bar, I noticed the lady closest to the computer was extremely busy. The other lady was just on her phone so I kept saying “excuse me” , I felt as if she was ignoring me, because when guys walked up she took their order without any hesitation. Finally the lady at the register is finished (her name is Jaz, it was on her shirt lol) she comes check on me and I’m like finally. She apologized for the wait and immediately made my drink for me. 2 minutes later I noticed the other girl is gone and Jaz is busy but she still manages to make my drinks, and engage in conversation with me that was very much needed. I was having a tough day and she turned it around. Although she was busy, she still treated me respectfully and promptly. She recommended amazing food and drinks. I didn’t know what I wanted to drink but she whipped something up and it was amazing, I had to get the recipe to fix for myself at home lol. If it wasn’t for Jaz I would’ve never came back and I stay 10 minutes away. The other girl needs to work on her customer service skills a little bit more before working behind a busy bar. If you get a chance to visit this spot, ask for Jaz (I later find out she was a manager, PERFECT CHOICE! She works hard and treats everyone like family) but tell her Ms.Crystal sent you, bad day? The food and drinks here are really good. We had fish basket, shrimp basket and two wing baskets. We arrived around 4pm. The owner is very nice and we were attended to very well. It's a small lounge atmosphere with a pool table, bar drinks and a dj. At night, it's more of a club atmosphere and they have hookah available. It was clean. Parking is a small lot in front, field on sides of building(beware of glass shards in grass - 4 stars), and on the street. Keep in mind the area, 5th ward. We left before dark for a reason. Pretty nice laid back eatery with a nice little vibe. Music was on point GO DJ!😁💪 Anytime Keith Sweat Young but you ready come on it's a VIBBEE. It was a little pricey from my opinion but the people were pretty helpful and chill.
