March 2024 Update... Much fresher chicken and better customer service!! -----‐- Old Post from January 2023... I am reading the reviews and see that I am not the only disgruntled customer from old chicken (that made me ill) in December 2022... I generally go through the drive thru and decided to go in and order this evening. I asked the manager how long had the chicken been standing and she said about 15mins. I shared with her the reason I asked because of my last experience(December 2022) and she said "the chicken is always fresh but we can drop some fresh if you like" I stated to her it's not about dropping more chicken it's about purchasing chicken, getting home and the bone is red, bloody and brittle...the chicken is old! I stated I want to order again to see if it is a better experience this time than last...she told me I didn't have to order from them and I could leave! I asked her why was she refusing to serve me? I wasn't being unruly, I was making management aware of them serving old chicken. The only reason I stayed is because I like their taste, it's located in my community, and I have a right as a consumer... I asked the young man working drive thru if he was going to take my order? He stated his manager told him not to serve me! I told him that I heard her to say she wasn't going to service me and he could...Ending to a long story ...He took my order, much fresher chicken ...and now I will take management's advice and travel further to support another...

After specifically asking for two of these and pointing to the picture on the wall. Shermika still got it wrong. I called back to speak to the manager and was placed on hold for ten minutes. I hung up and tried calling back and the phone is still busy thirty minutes of calling back. I don't think I should have to be the one who has to loose out on this purchase. I paid for something that I didn't get and I'm hoping the owner will make it right. Twenty one dollars and sixty two cents is a lot to spend and not get what you paid for. While waiting, we watched a senior citizen stroll down the street to frenchy's. He did not go in right away....I finally got the attention of one of the staff and ask what was the delay...."cooking the tenders"...takes about 7 minutes...we had been there waiting over 25-20 minutes..i told the lady iIwanted a refunfr...more time padsesp so iIpark and go inside..few more minutes pass...requested my refund.
