I HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AT THE POPEYES ON ALMEDA GENOAA . I STOPPE IN @8:20 pm 5/23/2024. I ORDER THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU I ORDER A 3 PIECE COMBO 2 BREAST , 1 LEG AT FIRST AND ADDED A EXTRA PIECE OF CHICKEN (WING . AND THE CASHIER RECOMMENDED ME TO GET A 4 PIECE COMBO AND TWO APPLE PIIES. before I PAID THE CAHIER GIRL TOLD ME MY TOTAL . THEN SHE STATED MY PIES WOULD TAKE 8 MINS. I SAID FINE. THEN THE OTHER WORKER CAME TO THE WINDOW AND TOLD ME IT WOULD BE A 15 MIN WAIT FOR SPICY WHICH IS THE TYPE OF CHICKEN I ORDER SO AGAIN I SAID FINE. SO THEY TOLD ME TO GO PARK IN THE FRONT OF THE RESTURANT AND THEY WOULD BRING OUT MY FOOD. I WAS FINE WITH THAT . I DROVE TO THE FRONT AT 8:30 AND WAIT . I WATCH SEVEREAL CUSTOMERS LIEAVING WITH THEIR FOOD . SO BY 9:00 I GOT OUT THE CAR AND WENT IN SIDE THE RESTURANT AND WHEN THE FRONT CASHIER LOOK AT ME. AND SPOKE WWITH THE DRIVE THUR CAHSHIERS . EVERYONE LOOKED CLULESS. AS THE MANAGER (MARIA ) WHICH WAS IN THE BACK BY THE CHICKEN ASK THE GUY WHAT WAS I WAITING ON SHE STATED CHICKEN SPICEY. I EXPLAIN TO THEM I HAD BEEEN WAITING 40 MINS FOR MY FOOD AND I WAS TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 15 MINS. AS THE MANGER PUT SOME CHICKEN IN THE BAG I TOLD HER I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR MY FOOD 40 MINUTES SHE FELT THAT WASNT HER PROBLEM BECAUSE THE CHICKEN HAD TO COOK . I UNDERSTAND THAT BUT FOR 30 MINS. SHE STATED I WA SWAITIN ON LEGS AND I WAS WAITING ON BREAST MEAT . SHE THEN STARTED QUESTING THE CAHIER ABOUT WHAT I ORDER AND I TOLD HER MY EXACT ORDER . SHE KEPT ARGUEING WITH E ABOUT MY FOOD INSTEAD OF BEING A LEADER / MANAGER LIKE HER NAME TAG STATES. SHE THEN STARTIN G TALKING SPANISH IN FRONT OF ME. LUCKLY I SPEAK SPANISH . I FELT REALLY DIRESPECTED. I THEN TOLD HER THAT SHE WAS UNPROFESSIONAL , RUDE . SHE THEN KEPT SHOVING THE BAG TOWARD SAYING DID I WANT IT OR NOT.. I TOOK MY FOOD BECAUSE I PAID FOR IT. BUT I STILL HAVE THE FOOD. I TRIED TO CALL THE RESTURANT BUT THE PHONE KEEPS RINGING. T HAT POPEYES NEEDS FULL TRAINING AND RESPECT CUSTOMER AN NOT TALK ABOUT CUTOMERS IN SPAINISH. Read moreMan, this place is TRASH! I can only imagine what really goes on inside. We pull up to order 50 minutes before the place is scheduled to close. The 1st thing that is said is, "We are out of the following items: Tenders, Spicy Chicken, Legs (Mild or Spicy). The only sides we have are red bean and rice and 2 other sides that I forgot because I was amazed of how much food they didn't have almost an hour before closing.
Next, we stated that we had 3 survey coupons, because we had 3 different individuals in the vehicle placing their own order. The drive thru food service worker states that only 1 coupon can be used per car. I told him we came to this location about 3 weeks ago and was able to. No response. I asked if we could come inside and use them and he said, "No the dining area was closed" already even though it was not closing time.
I was like OK, can I place 3 separate regular orders without the coupon and he said, "Sure". In my mind, I was already turned off by the service because it shouldn't have mattered coupon or not. I see all they wanted was more money. Side note...We were going to add on items to the coupon order also.
We place our order and pull to the window. We see the workers already mopping the floors and the dining room chairs turned over and lights dim. Still 30 min left from closing.
We get our food and head home. We get home and find the most burnt leg piece of chicken, when they said they had no legs and all the other chicken was dry like it had been under the heating lamp for hours.
We were totally disappointed with everything that happened at this location. They have Police discount, but does not honor the Veteran Discount.
This location needs new management and owner because this wrong. This will be reported to the corporate...

I placed my order inside and asked for three wings in one combo and three legs in another combo I was allowed to get 3 wings in one combo but told me it was AGAINST THE RULES TO GIVE ME 3 LEGS IN A COMBO. The assistant manager Danna/ Danno/ Donna/ said that there wouldn’t be enough for other combos and they don’t have any legs anyways.
Me and my boyfriend are standing there in the empty restaurant and I CAN SEE THE LEGS inside of their chicken hot box A LOT OF THEM. In fact, the dude had just dropped a whole fresh batch and a ton of legs came out.
Not to mention when I asked for a refund for me and my boyfriend’s meals she got upset and said for what?? And I had to re explain the situation to her again.
Then when she decided to finally refund us she shorted us $1.60. When I brought it to her attention she said that she shouldn’t have to give it to me because my boyfriend still has his drink cup. When I asked her if she wanted it back, even though it was against Covid regulations, she just shook her head, and rolled her eyes at me and then gave me the money.
When I asked her what the corporate number was, she said she didn’t know and shrugged her shoulders at me. Then I asked her what her name was because she wasn’t wearing a name tag and she said it was Donna / Danna/ donno. I asked her if she was the manager and she said yes I asked her which kind? General, assistant, or kitchen and she just looked at me stupid. I said the general? She said her general manager‘s name is Maritza.
