Refresqueria Puerto Escondido — Restaurant in Houston

Not all but some employees are rude. They dont value you as a paying customer. I have been going there faithfully for the past year at least once a week. I have 4 kids and I use to go there and buy ice cream after Karate. I have never had a bad expirence untill last week. Normally they attend to you right alway but on this occassion they did not so after waiting for a few minutes I decided to ask if anyone else was helping. One employee asked what I needed. While she was taking my order another girl interrupted and said to me " next time you need to stand where we can see you because we are busy and can not see you standing there." No matter where I am standing I am a paying customer and I should get service with respect. Of course because she is one ignorant person she stood there and agured with me. Finally I left and called the owner and complaint on her behavior. The owner took ownership and apologize. If you want good food and ice creams with bad service thats the place. We went to This refresqueria to get some elotes and we told the lady that we wanted a whole elote on the stick with they have available on the menu! Well the lady prepared it on the cup!, and when she handed it to us we told her we ask for ir whole on the stick and well she got mad at us and started confronting us we told her that there was no need for her to get that attitude towards us if she was mad or was having a bad day it was very rude for her to take it upon us!! I went on Sunday 10/22/23 at around 4pm-ish , I was disappointed with the food this time and last time, this past Sunday my preparada had no flavor, there was no lemon juice or whatever spice they add, was not enough, I'm not sure what went wrong, but it tasted like water. My coconut I threw it away bc, the coconut was not fresh, it was old and like rubberband. The last time the nachos were soggy, by the time I got to work.. and I was not impressed with their chicharon in vinagre, gross Cueritos, I think that's what it's called 🤢.
