Sno City Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Houston

I was disappointed with my visit here. It’s unfortunate because I’ve heard so many great things about it. The wings tasted overcooked, but the fries were decent. I didn’t feel welcomed when I arrived. The two ladies at the front were rude,they were looking at me like I was chopped liver lol. The cashier barely spoke to me. Is she slow? She was friendly with regular customers tho. It came across as I was bothering her when I would ask her questions about things on the menu. Then when I tried to call to speak with a supervisor, she answered and said she wouldn’t be back until next week.. then had the nerve to ask me “why?” I just hung up in her face. Maybe they were having a bad day, but either way, customer service should always reflect a business positively. The place wasn’t very clean, it smelled like sewer upon entering, and the overall atmosphere could use improvement. Horrible first experience. From the start the customer service was horrible. It definitely showed that the cashier did not want to be there and as if I was bothering her. I ordered a burger combo & fried boudin. Now, the burger was good, the fries weren’t anything special, but the fried boudin was a big disappointment. For starters 3 small links for $12 (crazy) I was expecting much bigger, these are more like half of a link each. THE BEST EVER!!! I LOVE the owners/family. They are down to earth & just all around good people. The food is AH-MA-ZiNG and always fresh & hot! Every time I come, the atmosphere is nice, cool, chill & laid back; very good vibes! The playlist be on POiNT! They have both inside & outside dining. They always keep the place clean. My mom, my daughter’s and myself go here constantly! The snow cones are so damn good! They have over 35 flavors and they make sure to introduce/add new ones on the menu. I can continue to go on about this place & the owners that’s just how DAMN GOOD this place...
