BEWARE TO ALL CUSTOMERS The brisket cutter purposefully served me bad meat and I’ve had stomach ache and blow out diarrhea for days now immediately after eating their brisket baked potato. ———— FACTS ———————————— I went to lunch at Toney’s Mc Carty Rd. location. I watched the brisket cutter pull out 2 different briskets (from under cutting table) to cut meat from to put on 4 other customers’ (in front of me), baked potatoes. I noticed the first brisket had a lot of fat on it and didn’t look right— and the second brisket was all very good meat. I noticed the meat cutter guy only cut a couple of small slices from the bad brisket then pull out the second good brisket to cut the remaining meat to put on each of the 4 customers baked potatoes who were in front of me. So I ordered a meat baked potato as well, but when the guy made my meat baked potato, HE ONLY CUT MEAT FROM THE FIRST FATTY OR BAD BRISKET, NOT THE GOOD BRISKET. When I asked the guy why he didn’t give me the brisket from the second brisket like he did for the 4 customers before me, he told me that the second brisket was very dry. That was the only difference. Needless to say short time later I had a stomach ache and have had blow out diarrhea now for 2 days...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and I can't say enough about how amazing the experience was. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a relaxed meal. The real star of the show, however, was the food.

The brisket was absolutely perfect—cooked to perfection with just the right balance of smoky flavor and tenderness. It practically melted in my mouth, and the seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them. I’ve had brisket at other places before, but this one truly stood out as one of the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was a delight, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention went into preparing it.

The sides were equally impressive, complementing the brisket perfectly, and the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes from their menu. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great food and a...

This place needs a wakeup call regarding their food. Pulling up to this place you see that there's barely any other customers outside. Then you walk in and there's no music playing the vibe is dark and depressing.

You order your food and it's expensive bbq, ok fine then how does it taste? The ribs were cooked right, but they had no seasoning on it, bland and flavorless. The creamed corn tasted like boiled corn with Velveeta in it, flavorless and the BBQ beans were garbage. The jalapeno bread tasted worse than the bread I might buy at Walmart.

Then the dining area smells like industrial cleaning chemicals. Shouldn't it smell like smoked BBQ or something pleasant?

I hope they make some changes I'll try again in 3 months to see if...

If u bath ur meat in bbq then u might like it, true good bbq doesn’t need bbq sauce, this one did, ribs didn’t not have no flavor either did the chicken, chicken tastes more like if it was baked and not really on a smoker, got a side of coleslaw and its was 8/10 tasted so fresh and it was rllly good, one of the cooks was passing by and checked up on me rlly nice on that, sides did look good as well for the meats just the lack of flavor its what made me not to 3+. Will i come again? Maybe only if im down the street and hungry but will it be on my list as to go to no.

On May31st about 11:15 am I purchased double order of brisket sliced and two orders of peach cobbler. Two hours later, I was taken by EMS in Jacinto City to LBJ choking a jagged piece of brisket. This company and its contents will be thoroughly reviewed, by everyone agency that Harris County can muster. I will upload pictures shortly of what these people sold me, pending litigation. Dangerous to travel there in person as I did, the surroundings inside were a copy of another Barbeque chain. I will be seeking damages as well as the closure of this facility.

We had the brisket and rib dinners. Being from St. Loius, I have definitely had better, but for the price, these dinners were plentiful and very good. The one thing I wasn't too fond of was the BBQ sauce, and this is just a matter of individual taste. I think it would be nice to offer a few different flavors of BBQ sauce. We were the only customers in the dining area. That could have been because we went there on a rainy weekday night, and I think this place is more of a lunch place. It is a cafeteria style place. Overall, I would recommend eating here.
