So I'm giving 3stars on this beautiful Saturday morning Sept. 6th, 2025... First of all this was my first time delivering, so as always I'm reading posted signs and according to the posted signs the second driveway coming from the 610 (Perishable Items) is where I was supposed to go. The gate was locked so I assume on Saturdays the gate is closed. So, I went to the next gate which is where I encountered 2 of the rudest young ladies at the guard shack. So once again not knowing what to do I pulled in the first lane close the guard shack apparently that was wrong because I got pointed to the right! 🙃 No problem moved over to the right, walked to the window stood there a couple minutes NOTHING but laughter, I walk away and go take my lock off my trailer just in case they need to see the seal. Did that returned to the window to more giggling and now I feel the need to say something. So I asked is this where I'm supposed to check in at and do we not check in at the window (which is right in front of the shack). Then the chaos begins with the young lady out of uniform very rudely asked me what my problem is. I advised her I've never been to this facility and just trying to figure out their procedure. Now I'm being told I, I have an attitude because the look on my face; which was the look of confusion. 😒 🙄 Long story short Kroger's you need to hire professional security officers with a little compassion and equipped to handle their job and the public. Second star deduction because after being told more than once I've never been here before; Ms. Rudeness (because she wouldn't give me her name) handed me my paper and sent me on my way, so I had to ask her again to direct me. Once there found out after I reach the dock and opened the doors I wasn't supposed to be at docks 13-24, but instead docks 169- 177. Because of this misinformation I didn't get to the correct dock til 1036. This is worst Kroger's experience I've ever encountered and the first time I've felt the need to share my experience about you're...
Read moreI know after reading all these reviews, you're going to think this one is fake because I have very little to say bad about this experience, but really, this was one of the quickest unloads at any DC I've ever done. But, things are different now than in previous reviews, even from just a few months ago. They did NOT make me disconnect from my trailer. I just backed in, opened the doors, slid the tandems and waited. I arrived early and was told to come back at 730pm, for my 8pm appt. At 730 they put me in a door, before long I was being unloaded, I was driving out of the parking lot at 840pm. I had a full trailer, too. The guard shack woman was kinda rude, the receiving girl was cute and very sweet, though. (that's the person you talk to at door 155 1/2.) Lumper fee was ridiculous but I didn't have to pay it. My company did. The backing is tight, and people were saying its tight WITHOUT trucks in the way. Now, without people moving out of the way, its REALLY tight. I got lucky that nobody was in the 4 doors next to me so it was easy in and out for me. But I could see others having a hell of a time backing in. Here is a great piece of advice for EVERYONE. I don't care what the guard shack person tells you. When you pass the first guard shack after checking in, go straight to the wall of the building and TAKE A RIGHT. Keep the building TO YOUR LEFT. Even if you have to go all the way around. This will prevent you from having to do a blind side back as you will NOT have enough room to turn around on any side of this building. You can go either way around the building. The guard shack person has no idea that it's 1000X more difficult for us to back in blind side,...
Read moreThe way this place is set up is got to be one one the worst. If your bringing in juice you can't check in until 6am at the second gate, I was give doors 169-177, they way you come in here it's set up for a blind side back and there's very little room, to flip around go on the other side and blind side hopefully into some open docks, come back back in one of my doors slide tamdems to back, drop bobtailed back to the otherside of the building to drop paperwork off, drove back over to where my trailer is in a door to turn around once again to be able to nose into a bobtail parking spot. Like I said the place is set up inefficient, it could be alot better if they'd have someone that knew what they were doing to fix this issue, which imo starts right at which guard shack to come in and checking paperwork in there would eliminate all the other inefficiencies going on here. Hopefully it won't take to long to be unloaded, and hopefully the process to get out of here isn't near as bad as...
