Two Wheels Down — Restaurant in Houston

Been here a few times with some friends, this last time I did go w/friends we were cut off by the owner however not sure why and weren’t given a reason why. The few times I’ve been here, I don’t order drinks because I have not liked a single drink from any of the previous times. Even when purchased a drink from someone or others, I don’t finish them. So I was surprised to have been cut off considering I don’t order drinks at this bar because I don’t like them; I can’t speak for others, they seem to enjoy them. Apart from that the times I’ve been here the environment is different, it’s a local spot not far from IAH airport and not for everyone however to know what I mean you gotta stop by for yourself. It’s slightly hidden but not difficult to find.

Update: After some time away I decided to go back and check it out again w/my friend, I did go to their after hours since they stay open past 2a and it becomes a cash only establishment. My friend happens to have a one drink policy in the establishment that I was unaware of & I don’t know how that happen since I was not with my friend when that was issued however since it was only one drink we figured we’d stop by. My friend had ordered the drinks and also asked Brandon, the bartender, if the one drink policy only applied to her or also to who is with her. He advised it was only for her and came back with the drinks. I couldn’t hear what was spoken between Brandon and my friend but she had questioned why the drinks were so much to which he replied that it was only $24, it was $12 per drink. At some point the discussion seemed to go nowhere & my friend said never mind, we no longer want the drinks and decided to leave to which I recall Brandon saying “Get tf out my bar”. The vibes are still the same, still sketchy not a place for everyone however if you’re looking for some party favors there’s no need to search far within the establishment, it will find you here.

He venido aquí algunas veces con mis amigas, esta última vez que fui con mis amigas nos dicen que el dueño dijo que ya no nos sirvieran bebidas sin embargo no se porque y no dieron una razón. De las pocas veces que he venido yo no ordeno bebidas porque no me gusta ni una sola bebida de las que hacen. Incluso cuando alguien e otros me compran una bebida, no me la puedo terminar. Me sorprendió cuando ya no nos iban a servir considerando que ni ordenó bebidas de este Bar porque no me gustan a mi, no se de otros porque ellos si parecen gustarles. Aparte de las ultimas veces que he ido el ambiente es diferente, es un lugar local que no queda lejos del aeropuerto IAH y no es para todos sin embargo para entender de lo que hablo ocupan pasar por ustedes mismos. Está algo escondido pero no difícil de encontrar.

Actualización: Después de un tiempo fuera, decidí volver y echarle un vistazo de nuevo con mi amiga. Fui al bar después del horario de atención, ya que permanecen abiertos después de las 2a y se convierte en un establecimiento que solo acepta efectivo. Resulta que mi amiga tiene una póliza de una bebida en el establecimiento que yo desconocía y no sé cómo sucedió, ya que no estaba con ella cuando se emitió la póliza. Sin embargo, como solo se permitía una bebida, decidimos pasar por allí. Mi amiga había pedido las bebidas y también le preguntó a Brandon, el barman, si la póliza de una bebida solo se aplicaba para ella o también a quién estaba con ella. Dijo que solo para ella y regresó con las bebidas. No pude escuchar lo que hablaban Brandon y mi amiga, pero ella había preguntado por qué las bebidas eran tan caras, a lo que él respondió que solo costaban $24, eran $12 por bebida. En algún momento la discusión pareció no ir a ninguna parte y mi amiga dijo que lo dejara así, que ya no queríamos las bebidas y decidimos irnos, a lo que recuerdo que Brandon dijo "Sal de mi pinche bar". Was there a couple days ago with 2 coworkers. Went after hours because us three got off at 2am. Was there for only 3 or 4 hours. Got jumped so did my coworker. I don’t remember any of it. None of the night out there. Took a toxicology analysis so did my coworkers all of us were drugged. We don’t know with what nor can the doctor tell us bc we have no clue. Only one of us remember bits and pieces. I woke up at home thank god so did my female coworker although she went to the E.R. Later on in the day on an IV. And the other woke up in a ditch at 6:30 in the morning. Nothing in our wallets or anything. That was my first time going there. I was told were we supposedly downing shots but seriously only 3 green tea shots and 1 michelob ultra within a 3 hour span is supposed to make all of us black out drunk? I remember our drinks but after that nothing. Be careful the place is a hell hole. Got mugged lips stitched up and broken nose. I was pretty surprised that I enjoyed myself, to be honest. I had my thoughts on what I thought it was as going to be like in there, so it took my sister forever to talk me into to going. I gotta say that it's not at all what I thought. I figured it to be a biker bar with a bunch of fighting and stuff of that nature, but it was very chill. They have a jukebox with every genre of music, they don't tolerate people disrespecting each other, the drinks are reasonably priced, the bartenders are great and very friendly, and most of all there are people from all walks of life and ethnicities.
