The Eureka — Restaurant in Houtzdale

This review is about the upstairs children party area. Started with the owner falsely telling me the place was open on my desired date, only to find out it was NOT, AFTER the invitations were sent. The place itself wasn’t the cleanest when we got there. Had to sweep, wipe off tables and clean pee off the bathroom seat. The bathroom only had three small battery operated LED lights as the only lighting source. The sink was too hard to turn for the kids, and the facet was only an inch way from the side of the bowl making it difficult to wash you hands. I attended here for a birthday party. The second floor, where we were, was dirty and in need of some updating. The tiny bathroom was just disgusting, with stains and dirt everywhere. The staff was not very helpful and the prices of everything was astronomical. I can only rate and review the upstairs portion of this place but, at least for me, it was the kind of place where you walk out of and feel the need to go home and shower. Definitely would...

We attended a wine tasting at The Eureka. The atmosphere in the Speakeasy is wonderful.
